  • Great product and value, highly recommend, A++, tips and tricks to using this product
Have used the product extensively in the past for transferring stencils onto skin for tattoo outlines. Product works amazing at transferring the stencil in a way that lines are very crisp and bold but also makes the transferred stencil last much longer on the skin than without the product. This is important when doing tattoo outlines because you want the stencil to not fade or rub-off completely while completing the tattoo. When using the product make sure the area the stencil is being applied to is freshly shaven as hair can mess up the application of the stencil and tattoo but also hair is unsanitary and you want the area where the tattoo will be applied to be and remain as clean as possible during the tattoo process but also in the following weeks as it heals. Once shaved apply a small amount of the lotion onto the area and rub it in until the area is no longer wet but also is not dry, you want the skin to be moist to help the stencil transfer. Apply the stencil paper to the skin making sure not to move the stencil paper once applied as not to smear any of it. Get a damp paper towel and apply pressure to the back of the stencil paper. Press firmly on the stencil paper but make sure not to rub or move the stencil paper itself as this will cause smearing. You want the stencil paper to appear damp from the pressing of the damp paper towel as this will help transfer a nice bold and crisp stencil onto the skin. After the stencil paper appears just barely moist or damp and has been on the skin for st least 30 seconds, too much wetness of the stencil paper will cause the stencil itself to smear and wash away from the water, you will apply pressure again to the stencil paper but this time using a dry paper towel. Once you have applied pressure using the dry paper towel all over the stencil paper it is now time to remove the stencil paper. Do this by starting on an edge and slowly peeling away the paper from the skin making sure that as the paper is removed a crisp and bold stencil is left on the skin. If you notice that the stencil isn’t very dark or bold on the skin then carefully lay back down the paper on the skin making sure not to adjust the position of the stencil. Then repeats the steps of applying pressure using a damp paper towl then pressure using a dry one to the area of the paper where the stencil wasn’t bold. It’s important for the paper to get damp as this will produce the boldest outline but not too wet as this will cause smearing of the stencil so this might take some time to fully master. After your sastified with the stencil applied to the skin and the paper has been removed, wait at least 10 minutes for the stencil to dry along with the skin it’s applied too. This is why when applying the lotion you want the skin damp so that after the stencil is applied and the lotion, skin, and stencil dry up, the stencil is now locked in and will not fade, rub-off, or smear without liquid and scrubbing.hope this helps to anyone using this stuff for the first time to apply stencils, it’s a craft in itself creating and applying quality stencils but when properly applied using this lotion the stencil will be much darker, bolder, and be much more resistant to rubbing off or smearing during the course of applying the tattoo. Highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to improve their applicaton of stencils to the skin. ... show more
