I am super happy with this bumper! It went on easy, and it is a great look. Wiring lights was easy and it just works well. One thing to note... most receivers for the hitch are about 1-2 inches longer than this one is! ENSURE you get a hitch that has the hole for the pin close in or the trailer weight will be too much because of the arm induced. This is NOT a negative, just something to pay attention to. The stock bumper receiver is mounted better than this one meaning that they use more metal fore/aft... with that said, keep the hitch in close, and it works great! (I pull a small utility trailer and a pop-up camper with it). The lights are bright! I really like that when hooking up at night! I did not wire them up with my reverse lights as they are too bright for anyone behind you. I have a separate switch for that purpose. ... show more

Both front and rear bumpers function well and are super easy to install ! Well manufactured, they're solid steel and coated with a very durable finish ! They don't scratch easily like just a powder coat finish ! The lights are "SUPER" bright ! Initially we wired the rear bumper lights to the fog lights, but they are so bright that we had to rewire them to the reverse lights only ! People would pull up beside us and say "Your lights are on" ! Trust me, don't wire these up to be on while driving !!!! Lol...They blind people behind you ! ... show more

This is a great looking bumper, but there were a couple of issues installing: 1) The line up of the holes was extremely tight on one side. I finally got enough bolts sticking through that I could I was able to slowly force the bumper in place by tightening the bolts. It will be hell to remove. Had this not worked, I would have had to drill out 4 holes to allow the bumper to slide on. 2) The instructions for wiring were very sketchy. I reused the existing wiring harness. The instructions show that you hook black to existing black and red to existing red, however, there were no red wires on the existing jeep harness, only a black and a white with a stripe on each side. I just hooked the black to existing black and the red to the existing white wires and the lights worked fine. The instructions should be corrected to clarify this issue. 3) The instructions tell you that if you are installing a winch, you will need to remove the frame cover. Unlike what the instructions lead you to believe, the frame cover must be removed and cannot be left in place. The bumper will not fit if the cover is left in place. The two plastic pins holding it in place can easily be removed with a 1/4" drill bit. 4) As others have noted in the reviews, one end of the bumper had poked through the packaging and was exposed so that it could have been damaged, fortunately, mine had no damage. Nilight should correct this with more reliable protection. Despite these issues, this was good deal and I highly recommend this to any Jeep owner that wants a competitively priced bumper. ... show more

This is a good bumper - install was pretty easy but this thing is heavy - about twice as heavy as the front bumper we installed from the same manufacturer - I was impressed with how well the bumper was packed in the shipping box - came out with no dings or dents - did find a little rust on the backside of the bumper but not a big deal. ... show more

Just installed the rear bumper yesterday. Removing the old one was the hardest part, ton of bolts, have a breaker bar to help. Also an impact gun for the tow hook is very helpful. My bumper came packed with all hardware and bolted right up, no modifications needed. In Hawaii you need to have a safety check sticker on the bumper so I had to drill some holes in the middle to mount my safety check plate. That was probably the hardest thing to do. I haven’t gotten the lights hooked up yet, ordered a relay kit and switch so hopefully they will be running soon. It’s a solid bumper, just wish the screws weren’t gold. I’ll pick up some matte black paint and get that taken care of later. Update 8/21 Finally hooked up the lights. I plan on getting a pod system eventually so I didn’t really hard wire the lights. I ordered some 14 gauge sae extension wires and a sae to 12volt lighter wire. I also got a thing that turns your lighter into 3 outlets and it has switches to turn each one on and off. The lights run about 40 watts combined and the lighter has a 20amp fuse built in. Also the the lighter outlet has its own 15 amp fuse built in so I didn’t need to get an external fuse. Ran the wires up into the passenger tail light and then under the carpet all the way to under the passenger seat. It comes up right into the lighter socket. I can turn it on and off from the center console and nothing is hard wired. They are pretty blinding cause they kind of angle upward but they shoot a whole lot of light. I originally plugged them into the 12volt in the back of the Jeep but that would suck to get out every time I wanted to turn them on so ran it up front instead. It works well and took only about an hour to wire up. I wanted this configuration in case I needed the lights for camping, I can plug it into my Jackery and not use the Jeep battery. ... show more

I mounted this on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Only took perhaps about a half hour to mount and wire up the lights. However, after about a year, one of the lower rectangular lights no longer works. Is there anyway I can get a replacement light? LED lights in theory should never burn out as there is no filament so it is a defect within the light circuitry itself. It gets proper power and has a good ground. The other 3 lights work as they should. It's not a big deal but it is more annoying than anything as the overall look is no longer symmetrical and I bought this to look good and to function properly. I've owner this since mid March of 2021 and it still looks good, no rust or anything. Only issue is with the one light. ... show more
