We got this for Christmas for our 5 almost 6 year old. We went through half of them yesterday, and for the price, the quality is so good! It’s perfect for a fun activity, especially for younger kids. Each one takes about 30-60 minutes and it’s user friendly.

The screws are very tiny and take a lot of dexterity to install. My 7 year old loves these kits (with support). I usually have to get all of the screws started.

I got this for my nephew and he loves it! They all work as expected and nothing breaks easily. I'd say it's good quality and beat my expectations with the education and engagement.

    • It is worth getting, but could use some improvements.
- The instructions look like they were color photocopied. The resolution is low, and some of the parts are difficult to identify. E.g. some parts are white, and are presented on a white background, so are hard to see. Other parts are just blurry or not easily identifiable. None of the parts are labelled in the book. If the parts get mixed up, it will be hard to pick the right one (e.g. there are a few rods of different length). - The fan for the Bubble Machine is not strong enough to produce bubbles. - The Balance robot eventually just spins in a circle. The bracket/housing for the motor isn't tight enough to hold the motor in place (no matter how hard you tighten the screws), so it moves out of place and disconnects from the large gear and then the toy doesn't move. Also the rod for the wheels is too easily movable, even with the washers, so it also causes disconnecting from the gears. - For the Doodling robot, the way the markers are supposed to be attached to the L-brackets is a poor design. If you try to slide the bands up or down, the L-brackets cut them. It would have been better to have clips to hold them in place. Still, I do feel that this toy is good value, and so I recommend it. ... show more
