  • Best face wash ever
This has been my go-to face wash since I first found the product two years ago. And by face wash, I mean I literally scrub my face with it and nothing else. It’s naturally exfoliating, moisturizing, and acne-preventing. I think it’s safe to say this product even drastically improved my acne over time. After using, my skin feels more refreshed and quenched than any soap or chemical face wash could ever hope to do. My personal advice is to squeeze a nickel-sized amount on one dry hand, slightly wet the other hand, rub hands together to mix, then scrub on the face for 30 seconds to a minute. Rinse really really well, especially around the eyes and under the chin so you’re not left with sticky spots. I personally follow the scrub with natural jojoba oil to lock in moisture, as I have extremely dry, sensitive skin, but the honey alone is extremely moisturizing, even after rinsing. If my face is especially dry, breaking out, or it’s been a while since I’ve washed it, I let the honey sit for 5-10 minutes to let the nutrients heal my pores. It leaves a slight (pleasant) tingling sensation and leaves my skin feeling cleaner than ever. I get strange looks from friends and family when I tell them I wash my face with raw honey, but the results don’t lie. Even better, I’ve only bought four squeeze bottles for the entire duration that I’ve used this product. Yes, I’ve skipped more than a few nights of washing my face, but even so, a bottle lasts a good six months or longer for the way I’m using it. Overall, I highly recommend using this brand of manuka honey to wash your face if you’re looking for a 100% natural skin product that’s so clean you can literally eat it. ... show more

  • UMF 5
Found out, by researching this more (after ordering), that the UMFactor needs to be *10 or higher to give the benefits being of the value many are claiming; so I do plan to order once more, from a seller that sells one of the *higher UMFactors, next month; however, I believe there are still benefits to this one. First, I did taste it and it does have a *gritty texture to it but it tastes great! Second, this particular item is in a *squeezable bottle and is why I chose it over the other ones (besides that it is, also, the *cheaper of them all and not cheap but cheapER). I have extreme dermatitis & accute eczema and since Chemo & radiation I suffer more. Any 🍯 is going to have some benefits & this item is easy to apply (by squeezing) to my problem skin. I just received this 3 days ago & applied it to the problem areas on the back of my hands; in just TWO DAYS I could already see improvement! (See shared pics). I use cotton gloves to cover & keep clean while 🍯 is on, then take off & rince in cool warm water to wash it off. I see & feel a WONDERFUL difference! (Also have used to *exfoliate my whole body by applying as an exfoliating *scrub while in the shower & it does an AMAZING job)! ... show more

  • Interesting option to Honey
This is not as sweet and it is grainy. However neither of those was a downside for me using in most of my teas. I'm not a big sweet person, so that was fine. It's easy to dispense - although it's new, so we'll see later on. I love that the tube is balanced so that you can set it on the lid easily without wobbles. It's got a nice wide pour also. It's just barely wide enough for a tea spoon so you can serve it that way as well. ... show more

  • Squeezable - wonderful in your daily tea. Great for your gut!
I love Manuka honey. I started a Manuka honey kick when I was in England and wanted to solve some stomach issues, and consume things positive for my gut (olive leaf tea plus Manuka honey #healedme from weeks, and I mean weeks of influenza. That and garlic pills. This was years back...) In fact, any time I have to do a round of antibiotics for something, got to get back to using that Manuka honey again. Works. Often I run out and don’t replenish that because it’s not always so easy dumping a spoon full of that stuff into your drink. But now SQUEEZABLE- oh man. I did not know you could solve an issue with my life I did not know I was having - lol. Great honey too! Keep it up! ... show more

  • A product I feel good about
The taste of this product is excellent. It's a tiny bit grainy in texture but I'm fine with that as I use it melted in tea. I love that it's sustainably sourced, raw, and done in a way to make it as good for us as possible, and as good for the environment as possible. Reasonably priced compared to other manuka honey brands, and listed as a UMF certified company on the official UMF website. As a nutritionist this is worth noting: many studies have shown (for reasons unknown) that UMF 5 had greater antimicrobial properties than higher UMF ratings. My hypothesis is there are other compounds at play which we are unaware of in other plants the bees are utilizing. Check NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) for specific research articles regarding antimicrobial properties of low UMF honey. ... show more

  • IN LOVE
Wow! I never tried manuka honey before because of the price tag that comes along with it. I happened to find this on Amazon and thought the price wasn’t bad. I’ve always wanted to try manuka honey because of all of the benefits so I gave it a shot. I am not disappointed, my only complaint is I wish it came with more product! It’s really thick, not like regular raw unfiltered honey, but it’s flavor is superb and I cannot see myself going back to that old stuff. Thank you Steens! ... show more
