I have really enjoy this portable sauna. I was easy and quick to set up. The shipping was quick. I was super excited to try on my sore muscles as I have read that the steam can help soothe sore muscles and joints, and can help with conditions like arthritis or muscle stiffness. I suffer from stiff muscles and the ocasional sore muscle after intense exercise. I have used sauna and steam in the past, but only at gym. I love that I can have this at home to use when I need and at my own privacy. Since I received it have been using every day. It has also been relaxing specially after a long day. I put it in my living room i use it so much lol! Took like 5 min to put together. Works fantastic. Takes about 8 minutes to heat up and really start steaming but once it does it's powerful! Very calming being in there and it was so easy to set up. Worth the money for sure.

One of the things that I really miss is taking daily saunas. I used to live at a place where I took a sauna almost every day. Bringing the body up to temperature to get a good sweat going is one of the best things for detoxifying the body. There are numerous health benefits from the regular use of a hot sauna. This portable steam sauna is a great option to have a flexible and inexpensive way to be able to get the benefits from sweating in a sauna. There are a couple issues that I recognize. One of them is that the environmental temperature will impact how hot it can get inside the enclosure. If it’s not that warm where it is set up, the enclosure is not able to retain much of the heat. I used it inside and I still would like it to be able to get hotter. The other issue is of the steam diffuser that goes inside the enclosure. It’s made of cheap plastic that all the hot steam goes through and collects into hot water in the container. I don’t think plastic is a good thing to be heating up and potentially off gassing? I decided to modify the enclosure to accommodate a custom built InfraRed sauna panel I built (based around SaunaSpace incandescent bulbs). The enclosure works very well for this purpose (shown in pic included in this review), and I am able to get the heat inside the enclosure to a higher temp and benefit from the amazing therapy of IR. The kit comes with a steam generator that connects to the self assembled sauna enclosure, as well as nice floor mats for inside and outside of the enclosure, a folding chair and storage cases for easy transport. For a few hundred dollars it is a good option for a portable steam room, but it should be set up in a place where it is not too cold so that it can retain the heat inside. ... show more

Bought this on a prime deal. Received in early, opened it up today and it did. It did not contain a manual. Went online to try and find one, company does not have a website. Contacted Amazon product support and they tried to help, but didn't have the manual or a working phone number for the company. ( The number they had was for a completely different company). Figured out how to assemble it, and hooked up the steam machine. Plugged it in after adding the water, display turned on for about 3 seconds, had strange undecipherable characters on it. It shut off and never turned back on again. Will be returning tomorrow. *****Edit***** Customer service reached out to me after posting this review. They asked if I would like a refund or a new unit, I opted for a new unit. I received it very quickly, with the directions inside. I hooked it up, and have been using it daily since. My new steam sauna arrived very quickly after I placed my order. The sauna took less than 30 minutes to assemble and came with all of the accessories necessary for a relaxing at home sweat session including a nice compact folding chair that fits perfectly inside. 2 uses in and the steamer is working perfectly thus far and maintaining very high temperatures as desired. ... show more
