The lines on the paper are appreciated, though it makes for a more informal letter than special event, IMHO. The paper takes ink well, even though it's a bit on the thin side. The envelopes are quite heavy, but do NOT take ink well. The texture complicates writing, but also, it seems like they are coated with something...they are almost slippery. These come with stickers for closure, though they are white, so unless a wax seal or something is used over the top, a bit odd looking. The twine that comes with the set is a nice touch if they were to be hand delivered. I'm not sure the post office would appreciate twine on the exterior if mailing. ... show more
