Got these for wedding invites and they did not disappoint! They are super thick which made the invites feel fancier. They have a slight shimmer to them which I loved. I had no problem sending them through my ink jet printer to print the addresses right on them. The only thing I was surprised by is there is no adhesive whatsoever to close the envelopes. The media could not be loaded. They’re great for wedding invitations, that’s what I used them for! Thick and good quality, and a fair price! I wrote on them in calligraphy with India ink and the envelopes took it very well, so that’s a huge plus as well!

These were exactly what I wanted to send my designed invites out! The burnt orange matched perfectly, as did the size. Adhesion was on point - DO note that the sticky line is right on the edge; there is no gap between it and the paper edge! I don't generally lick my envelopes, but did ONE just for the review. Yep, it works great! All the rest of my invites were sealed with a small glue stick because I have a long-standing fear of tongue paper-cuts. I ordered these as the outer envelope for wedding invitations. The size was just large enough to fit the 5x7 inner envelope perfectly. The quality of the paper is great and the color/shine is beautiful. I gave 4 stars because the glue on the seal is minimal and doesn’t always hold. We used a bit of glue stick which worked great. They also come with a nice gold sticker to secure the flap so maybe the glue stick wasn’t entirely necessary. And they held the ink from my inkjet printer just fine, no bleeding through and did not smear. Excellent value for the money! ... show more
