The media could not be loaded. This is the first time that I’m not so happy with what I received. If you look at the pictures bag is empty and the plantain leaves look like a bunch of bark chips. I’ve ordered from this company before and received good quality but this is very disappointing. 🥲😒

    • A useful herb to have in the house
I had purchased this to see if it would be helpful with heartburn. I had heard about plantain leaf (the kind you find on garden lawns - either broad leaf or the kind with tall slender leaves) being useful for this and also for insect bites. So far, it has proven useful for the heartburn. It has kept it away for days at a time with taking just one cup of tea. Would probably be useful to drink it daily for a couple of weeks to keep it at bay. As with any herb, you have to be careful and notice how it affects you. Tasty, I added honey and cinnamon only because I love my sweets in the afternoon. Was good without it. I forgot what it was I ordered, good thing it says plantain leaf. I don't recall it's benefits, but it's tasty.

Love it! Plantain is known in Gaelic as "the healing herb" because it's such a versatile herb with tons of health benefits. It's mostly used to support and strengthen mucous membranes throughout the body. As an anti-inflammatory and antiviral, it battles infection, reduces mucous membrane secretions and supports tissue repair. It's excellent for all congestion problems throughout the ears, nose, throat, respiratory and digestive tract. It's usually used as a tea or tincture to treat indigestion, ulcers, diarrhea and IBS. I had no problem with service. Fast delivery. I just received the botanicals a couple days ago and haven’t used them yet. I have no reason to believe they won’t be as good as the Comfrey leaves I just ordered. I have infused the comfrey and used the oil to make a balm for my husband’s post surgical pain and inflammation of a rotator cuff repair. He grumbled about it for a couple days telling me it wasn’t working. I told him anti-inflammatories need consistent use and might take up to a week to really start feeling the benefits. On day 4, he texted me and said, “this ‘witchcraft’ stuff you made is working pretty good.” Needless to say he makes fun of me for making so many of my own healthcare and beauty products. This is the second balm I’ve made for him for ailments and both worked as I expected. Maybe he’ll start coming around soon. Thank you for a top quality product packaged in a top quality ziploc.
