I would compair this drone led to the vifly drone strobe light. I would say this strobe you can see a little past 3 miles when it is completely dark, very easy to see in the day as well. Try not to look at the LEDs when on, because they are bright. I recommend this anti collision light for drones. Thank you. ... show more

Even though my drone already has all the lighting required; this further demonstrates to you and others the direction it is flying in. This STARTRC Drone Strobe Light is a very nice unit and meets the task for which it was purchased - a bright strobe that meets the requirements for dusk/nighttime drone operation. Incredibly bright, three colors that can be used individually or together, and charges with the ubiquitous USB-C. One charge and it's still going strong. I put up a drone without it to get a baseline feel of fly-ability, then added the strobe light. Not much difference. It was a bit windy and the strobe appeared to add some resistance, but nothing I couldn't overcome. So, why not five stars? The primary reason is weight and size. This is not my first strobe unit and I was surprised to find it was substantially larger than my existing strobe (with similar, but not identical features). And, the weights are very different - the STARTRC weighs in at 11.1 grams, whereas the other one is about 5.8 grams. Granted, the STARTRC has additional features, which may be the reason for the greater size and weight. To summarize, this STARTRC drone strobe works very well, caused little difficulty in flying, and exceeds my expectations for task at hand. However, if you have a smaller drone or limited space for attachment, the size and weight is greater than some competitors. ... show more

Brightest strobe i have ever used. Lightweight and doesn’t affect the flight characteristics. Very visible in flight. Red green and white strobes and different flash modes. Highly recommend this product.
