The media could not be loaded. I am hired for various drone jobs, so I wanted to add to my set of capabilities the ability to broadcast messages at a distance with a drone. I purchased the STARTRC Drone Loudspeaker / Megaphone to test how well the technology works. The STARTRC is very easy to install, with just a base you attach to the body of the drone by wrapping a sturdy silicone ring around it. You then insert the speaker into the base and attach it with a thumb screw. There was no issue flying the drone with the speaker attached, whether the drone was moving forward/back or up/down (see video). The drone remained quite stable throughout the flight, and the speaker didn't move. The manufacturer indicates the range of the speaker/megaphone is about 3,000 meters. I didn't try it over such a long distance, but in my test, the sound carried quite well and my voice was easy to understand when I spoke through the megaphone. In addition to speaking through the megaphone, you also have the option of pre-recording a message and playing it in a loop, which is a nice feature. I think the STARTRC Drone Loudspeaker / Megaphone is a great option for anyone looking for a way to broadcast messages at a distance. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Liked the easy assembly on my DJi Air3 and its ability to transport the speaker without issues. This can especially be useful at large parties at a park, beach and on the other side a great tool for first responders, emergency crews upon searches. I do a lot of aerial event coverage and this speaker with remote is just what I was looking for. Audio is crystal clear, and speaker is lightweight and does not effect the flight characteristics of the drone. I use it on my air2s and mavic3 but can be used with other drones as well. The speakerphone is super loud with low distortion and clarity. Found the fitment to drone and its ability to transport the speaker without issues. This can especially be useful at moving stock in paddocks and communications to others further a field on distant property's.

This is not a speaker for music, it is lightweight, so it does not have the best sound for music, but that’s not what it was designed for.
