Excellent modernizations and quality of life features to polish off a PS1 classic and arguably the best game in the Star Ocean series. Perhaps difficult to Platinum without a guide, but for non trophy hunters, which is most of you, if you enjoy older RPGs this cannot be skipped.

This is a certified classic and this remake is incredible. If you grew up with the original you must have this, and if you didn't then you still must have this. I do recommend changing the music to the original soundtrack rather than the arranged soundtrack though.

Star Ocean 2 is masterpiece, an RPG from the golden age of Japanese role playing games. This remake does it great justice, it introduced great quality of life improvements while maintaining the core of experience. If you are a fan of jrpgs get this without hesitation.
