These worked out great for our graduation party. The size was perfect to use as decoration pieces as well as personalized props for photos. They are thin but not flimsy and lightweight enough to use glue dots for hanging or placing around the room. The material has a nice sheen to them yet easy to write on as well. These are pretty neat. If you want a thick gold star, don't get these. They are thin. But still awesome. The best thing about these stars are that you can write on them with a sharpie and there is no smearing. I wrote a word and immediately rubbed it, but nothing smeared. These are a great size as well. Got these for my daughter's end of year party (movie star themed) and these will work great for the 'star walk'. They came intact with no creases or flaws (they're not overly thick as shown in picture so I imagine they could crease pretty easily. To clarify, they're not "glittery" as mentioned in the description. They're smooth foil on one side and the backside is just a slightly less smooth foil. 11" is accurate.
