Used it to clean my Dagger Stratos 14.5 L kayak. It did clean the grime and left the deck shiny and pretty. Whether it protects against UV rays, only time will tell. But it did make my yak smell like fruity bubblegum, so I've got that going for me... Which is nice...

I just got this and my SUP paddle board was so dirty! I hosed it down, let it dry and then used this cleaner. It cleaned the little grime off very well! Not sure about protection yet but I’m sure it’ll work well there too. I really love the smell of this cleaner too! This also cleaned off the training wheels I have on my paddle board too. I keep hearing how great 404 protectant it but the slick coating made it almost impossible to load my kayaks. Paddlesport Cleaner and Protectant doesn’t leave a residue! Kayaks are easier to load and unload on my car as well as into the storage rack. For me, this is a huge deal. I won’t go back to the 303 Protectant again. I highly recommend it and tell people on my kayak groups how good it is. ... show more

    • Works for 12 year old pontoon.
My vinyl seats are 12 years old. We store the boat during winter Nov-Mar. we live in the Midwest we have a canopy/lift for the summer months and no dogs on the seats. We used liter cleaners over the years to avoid chlorine cleaners and save the threads. When we moved to a stronger cleaner, we found a mild degreaser first to remove the suntan oils, then a cleaner and a scrub brush with a good rinse. We then put a treatment/protectant on. This is the 3 yr for this product and it cut the grim the degreaser does not. I don’t use this every time we clean which is 3-4 time in the summer. Just for the hard spots when needed or at the end of the season when storing. ... show more

If your looking for a gloss coating this will not achieve it. Good sun protection but was hoping for a gloss to help glide through the water

This stuff cleans up my WHITE board easily and gets off gunk I pick up in lake water. It has a pleasant grape smell so there's no gagging on harsh chemicals. My dog hops on and being it goes into the water, that's important to me. I use it almost every time I paddleboard. I think the SPF works as I don't see any fading on my blue deck area. I wash my board on the grass and haven't seen any grass damage. I've used it for at least 2 years now and It's about gone and will be ordering another one. ... show more

Washed kayak then used this spray to give it a nice protective coating and it definitely did the job. Gave a nice clean sheen to my kayak and had a pleasant grape smell. Would definitely recommend for all your paddle sport equipment.
