    • Cardboard tube sucks don't get it wet
They should make the tube out of something else. I had to use a piece of PVC fitting and use a vice. Difficult install but if you need it you need it.

    • Dont throw away the cardboard tube.
Correct part. THe only issue I have is more of a design issue with GM. This is by far the most difficult thermostat I have ever had to replace. I would not recommend doing it yourself unless you have experience. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE cardboard tube. It is essential to installation
