If you have a pipe with a glass bowl, like a Top Puff then you need these. Regular screens slide all over the glass bowl and you will end up with herb in your water. If you are frugal, you don't want to lose any herb. These jewels keep everything intact and are easy to just plop into the bowl once loaded and then come out clean with just about any pair of eyebrow tweezers. Plus, since you load them first, they help with portion control. My only complaint is that the screens seem to burn out quickly so I already have two of them with holes in the bottom. I have been using these for years. I have found that a cigar lighter is so strong of flame that it burns through the screen. Need only a Bic cig lighter, or else.

The pipe I bought in a plus plus deal did not fit. They were just to small.
