  • Standing desk
Size: 60 Inches Wide Color: White Frame/Gloss White Top
I love this desk. I'm a quilter and have been stooping over my dining room table to cut fabric. I threw out my back and started looking for a standup desk. This is perfect, I wish I have gotten this sooner.

  • Versatile, good construct, but slightly wrong instructions
Size: 60 Inches Wide Color: Charcoal Frame/Gloss White Top
So happy with the purchase! # ----- White gloss top ----- I chose the white gloss (even though that's usually not my usual design choice) after I read a review of someone using it as a whiteboard. It's fantastic for quick notes! Remember that the seller does NOT recommend it as a whiteboard, so keep that in mind. So far (one month), I haven't seen any issues. # ----- Desk legs + adjustability ----- The legs are sturdy and don't wiggle or whine during normal use. While I surprisingingly don't adjust the height often from standing to sitting, the few times I've used the crank have been pretty decent experiences. The crank isn't silent because, well, it is mechanical. However, the crank isn't too loud either. With that said, the ease of use and sound depends entirely on how you assemble the crank. # ----- Assembly ----- Background: I like to work with my hands, and I don't tend to finish assemblies with more screws than expected :) So, with that said, I thought assembly wasn't too bad. I got stuck halfway through and reached for the instructions for the first time only to realize they were for a slightly different model than I got. 1. Build the legs with the back part of the legs resting on the ground 2. Add the casters 3. Assemble the inside part of the crank 4. Shift legs into the upright position (resting on casters) and test the crank by increasing and decreasing the height of the legs 5. Attach desk top to legs with either 5a or 5b. 5a. Shift legs back into resting on the ground, angle the heavy desk top perpendicular to the ground, and start connecting the top to the legs with screws. Lift the table to the upright position. 5b. Keep the legs in the upright position, place the desk top ontop of the legs, connect the top to the legs with screws. Step 3 is where you decide the rigidity and noisiness of the crank. You'll probably have two metal bars of differing lengths (for some reason...) that you place in a hollow metal tube that has screw on cinchers. You'll want to play around with the position of the metal tube over the metal bars until the tension is strong. Less wobbly crank means less noise and more effective cranking. # ----- Overall ----- I've been enjoying this desk very much! It's my first standing desk, and I've been enjoying the benefits of easily moving around while on 4+ hour calls with clients. I highly recommend especially for the price point. ... show more

  • Sturdy Desk
Size: 48 Inches Wide Color: Charcoal Frame/Teak Top
I purchased this desk, because like many people, I’m working from home these days. I don’t have a dedicated office space so wanted something with wheels that could easily be tucked away in the evening. Overall, I’m very pleased with the desk itself. It’s very sturdy and easy to crank when you want to adjust it. The wheels also glide very smoothly, and it’s pretty easy to swing around tight corners. Set up: First, let me just be honest and say that I hate assembling furniture, and I’m not the fastest at it. That being said, I do follow given instructions, and I rarely put something together incorrectly the first time. The instructions that came with this are probably the worst I’ve ever tried to decipher. Mainly because there are no words, only bad illustrations. Fortunately, they do have a video available, which I had to rely on because I found the illustrations to be one step above worthless. If you assemble this desk for a living and are using power tools, a half an hour is probably pretty accurate. If you’re using the hex wrench, and having to constantly pause and play the video, it’s going to take you much longer. Once the desk was assembled, one side was about 1 1/2 inches taller than the other. I contacted the company, and received a quick response with instructions and another video showing how to correct it. Did I mentioned that I HATE assembling furniture? It took me about 45 minutes to unscrew (using the dreaded hex wrench) about 10-12 screws, fix the issue and reattach the screws. If they had used words in the instructions, it would’ve been helpful to use those words to tell you to make sure you check the legs to make sure they’re the same length BEFORE you attach the table top. Pros: The desk is very sturdy, fits my monitors well, cranks easily, and the wheels glide smoothly. Cons: need better instructions and check your measurements carefully as the desk may not fit through your doors. I measured, and thought I was fine, but if I wanted to store it in a bedroom, I’d have to take the door off the hinges in order for it to actually fit through the door. Overall, I am pleased with the desk, and despite the assembly/disassembly, I would purchase again. ... show more
