The product came to me fast, like the next day thanks to Amazon FBA. The product came in in three boxes and at first glance, i wasn't sure this was going to work out because the table is huge, huge, huge, huge. So be mindful of that and make sure to grab a measuring tape before buying this table. The installation was easy but you need someone to help you turn the table a few times as you put things together...unless you are super strong. Anyhow, the electric elevation feature works wonders and it is so smooth that I can tell the quality is top. The table itself gives you so much room for your arms, papers, you can have multiple screen arms: one side of the table can be for work, and the other side for personal. It is just a wonderful table and the best size for work. IT IS HEAVY, did I mention that already? Great product, i give it 10 stars if I could. It is expensive but the quality is so strong that I see that desk lasting for decades. Now, I hope the electronics last as they seem they will. Thanks for the product Stand Steady! I am happy to have made this purchase. It is sturdy and large enough for 2 large screens, a printer, a bunch of files and a laptop. The motors are quiet. The answers from the manufacturer are fast and helpful. Things to figure out are, a chair mat. I measure about 34" between the feet (the legs are further apart, this is for the feet) for a chair mat. That leaves me with buying a 30" mat. I'll roll off of that right away. Then there are the cords. While this comes with a cord tamer, I still have cords going everywhere. There is no "behind the desk" with this. I also purchased the Compact Clamp-on under desk keyboard tray. Measure where you place the control buttons. If it's not right at the edge, you will be limited to which side you can attach the keyboard. Overall, I would suggest this desk for anyone that wants the ease of sitting or standing and a very large workspace. ... show more

I assembled the desk over Thanksgiving week last year. It was fine for most of that time, but then the central leg failed to rise at the same rate as the other two. When I tried to re-level the system, the whole thing burned out. $1850 down the drain.

I've been using this desk for about a year now. I've had no trouble out of it at all. The controls are a little finicky but once you learn how to use it they are fine. Very smooth. Offers a very wide variety of elevations. It is large so make sure it will fit before purchasing.

I was able to put this desk together by myself but it was a little difficult. I put together the base and then put the table top on the base and got underneath to screw everything in. It was awkward but laying the table top down and then screwing the base on it, would be impossible to move by yourself once you assembled everything. I'm a PC gamer and an IT so I have multiple monitors, including a huge gaming monitor, and everything fits perfect with room to spare. The desk itself is OK. It was not easy to assemble and needed extra pilot holes drilled into the desktops. You will need two people to assemble it, no question. The other drawback is that the top of the desktop shows Every. Single. Fingerprint and Smudge. The top constantly looks dirty and smudged no matter how many times you wipe it off, and not everything will get it clean. The major drawback to this purchase is that the desk is shipped in three separate boxes - 2 that have the desk frame components, and 1 large one containing the desktops. In the first round of shipping, I was sent two identical boxes of desk components, and the desktops were SMASHED - you could see particle board in many places. Stand Steady sent out a new box of the components I was missing, and then sent a new set of desktops. When I asked them what I was supposed to do with an extra box of components and a smashed set of desktops, they told me to dispose of them. Really? Am I supposed to hire movers to move a set of desktops out of my workplace that is on the 4th floor? I suppose I could have asked my colleagues to help me drag them to the dumpster, but that just seems incredibly wasteful that they didn't provide return shipping labels and have a recycling/surplus parts program in place for these kinds of instances. It's pretty shameful and wasteful, and it bothered me so much that when I asked if my department could BUY the extra box that we were missing to be able to assemble another desk out of it so it wouldn't end up in a landfill, I was told that they don't sell parts to their desks and that was it. Stand Steady should be ashamed at how they are trashing the environment with their waste. ... show more
