    • Retaining pins fall out, no way to find the small parts that fall out as a result

I replaced another mfg's version of steel shafts with these as these utilize a "U-Joint" technology/mentality = simple and very functional, yet, the retaining pins that hold this U-Joint/knuckle to the shaft (the smaller of the two pins) FALLS OUT. First event: happened less than 5 mins of running it up and down my local street (luckily it fell apart when I stopped it - at my feet = I found the small parts, but not the pin). I found that the pin in my Original Shafts was the same size, so I repaired this Quick to Fail shaft. Not to outsmarted, I used a drop of super glue on each end of these fixed pins, so they cannot come out, but after another 10 mins of running on the street and in my yard, another failure, very same issue-diff shaft, but this time (although I have more pins from my orig shafts) I was unable to find the two small parts (that again, make up the U-Joint/knuckle). What are the chances these small parts are in ANY WAY available 0.2?? Maybe?? Unless of course you fork out another $60 for other defective shafts. Stick to your stock shafts, I consider swapping to two Steel shaft sets only for each to fail miserablely a Strike Out and have reverted back. ... show more

These have to be the best I've put my hands on. Very well made no complaints what's so ever. Would strongly suggest that you purchase these if you want a great set of strong and smooth drive shafts.

I made a major mistake when installing them I didn’t pay attention to which one was which and installed backwards had the filp flopped my Traxxas hoss is now fixed and operating they way it should. And these drive shafts are thick 8 mm hub nut had to dremial out the hub just a little but it all works just fine now thanks and have a great day ... show more

    • Complete junk. Fitment is horrible.

Got the front set because the rear set is great for how cheap they are. First off these things are so bad fitting into the bearing and the fact that you need to add almost an 1/8th of an inch of spacer between the outer bearing and hex adapter pin to remove the 1/4 of movement in the wheels made me mad. Then on top of that the set screws that came with these stripped out with almost no effort. I had to completely rip the front-end off my rc apart and then cut a slit into the one driveshaft to remove the stripped out pin. I can only hope that i can return it and get my money back. ... show more

I purchased this set for my track's stampede 4x4. On the front they are pretty much extended all the way maybe a thread or two left. So the wheels do not align properly. When you hit any bump they come apart. Don't waste your money if you own a slash or a stampede 4x4 does not fit either one

Installed on a Traxxas Rustler VXL. They seem to fit a little sloppy. The product itself is nice but the fitment seems a little off. It could be me I guess. Ran them for a little bit and they seem to work just fine. Did not run them very long in fear of the breaking. Not sure if I would buy these again.
