These are just what I was looking for. I wanted to switch to drinking my coffee from a straw in an effort to reduce staining on my teeth. I will say that my morning coffee is more of a latte, very heavy on almond milk, and not very hot. These may not be ideal for a very hot beverage. I prefer not to use a straw when sipping hot tea. These straws do conduct some heat, but I also think it is more enjoyable to drink a very hot beverage with slower sips. I will also add that my nine year old daughter likes the straws for her water, and we find she will finish up a glass of water much quicker this way. These also work well for smoothies. The straws get a little chilled but not so much that it is uncomfortable. Overall these were a great find...affordable, reusable, and easy to clean with the brush that was included. My whole family is using them in one way or another! ... show more

No taste, easy to clean, and durable. I've used these straws for months now, storing in my car, lunch box, and cutlery drawer. They're a bit narrow for milkshakes and thick smoothies, but perfect for blended coffees etc. I've also used the straws for my hot coffees to avoid staining my teeth, and they work perfect propped in the sipping hole of my Yeti tumbler. The cleaning brush is also very handy and easy to use, though I've put these in the cutlery holder of my dishwasher and that cleans them well too. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Sturdy, well made and just the right angle
I bought these and they came with the cleaning brush. I'm really glad they sent a cleaning brush with them, as I'd never even thought about how to really get them clean, since I always just threw my other straws out. These straws are sturdy and well made.Aren't flimsy at all. There is no weird aftertaste using them, although it did take a little bit to get used to the idea of a metal straw in my mouth vs a plastic one. The straw adapts to the temperature of the drink as well. But I have no complaints. They are a little longer than plastic straws, and bent at just the right angle too. I didn't even realize they made these til I saw them advertised on Amazon.Since I use straws all the time to drink most anything with, I thought this would be great and save money in the long run. Can't see how these would ever wear out. I think they will be great with the grandkids too. I may buy more for stocking stuffers at Christmas..:-) ... show more

There is nothing wrong with these straws. Especially for such a great price. The packaging wasn't all that appealing and not what I expected, but it doesn't matter at all because this is a quality product. It has no metally taste, like some of the other reviews say. It is a normal size straw, I didn't expect it to be a super long one for a yeti cup. I'm using it on normal size cups, a Ninja blender to go cup to be exact, and it fits perfect. The only thing I will say is that it is not a thick straw. It is normal size, good for any drink. Maybe not so much for all thicker beverages. I use them for a smoothie and it is fine though. The metal seems to keep the drink even colder from its journey from cup to mouth! Would buy these again, but I think They will last! ... show more

The straws are metal, solid and clean, but it is too early to determine if they are made of stainless steel. The sides and edges are smooth so there is no chance of getting cut or of getting abrasions from using them. The manufacturer provides a brush to clean them and it works rather well. These are good straws and work in a smaller glass but not in a 30 oz. tumbler. If they were 2 inches longer from the tip to the bend then they would sit correctly in a large tumbler, but as it is, they fall into the cup which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend that the manufacturer should give a size, length or recommended size glass for the straws so the consumer can make an informed decision, or better yet provide different sizes for different size containers. ... show more

    • A little too narrow for my personal preferences, but good product.
These were very good. I felt they should have been a little longer for my 32 oz. Orca stainless cooler cup, but that's my personal preference. Also, for my taste, I found them a bit narrow. Again, this works fine, but if you are used to straws from places like Taco Bell, McD's, etc., you will notice these are definitely skinnier. Because of the size of the opening in the cup, I don't believe they could be any wider. But again, this is my personal preference, and does not affect the use of the product. Finish is fine, didn't have any sharp edges, nor did I experience any "tinny" or metallic taste. And the cleaning brush is very helpful, and is flexible enough to easily clean the bend area of the straw. For the price, this is an exceptional buy. The seller, however, is also exceptional in their follow-up, fast shipping, and courtesy. And that counts for a LOT. ... show more
