IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS. The straws do have a weird little opening in the ring at the base but as long as you aren't leaving them sitting with rotten milk in them they should be fine. They're easy to clean. The lids are tuff to get on at first but they do NOT come off accidentally, if it comes off it's because it wasn't pushed down properly to begin with. They are not spill proof. We are a family with 2 special needs sons. These cups are perfect! Going from toddler cups to larger cups but not wanting an ENORMOUS cups these are perfect. They are easy to "assemble" (again textures and sensory issues are something we struggle with) and provide a way to give them a drink without spills! They are easy to wash (especially when your son wants a specific color and can have a melt down if there are "changes"). We love these cups! The color changing is pretty neat. But they are sturdy and the lids click on tight and I feel secure having my accident prone kiddo use them. The straws stay in place so if it is tipped over the straw stays in place and any spill/leak is minimal, especially if you turn it upright quickly.     • Great upgrade from Take n Toss cups
They’re 12oz versus the Take n Toss cups 7oz. These are a great upgrade for us because my kids (9,7, and 4) still really need kids. Sometimes the lids aren’t fully snapped on, but that’s just because you have to push hard. That’s easier to see on the Take n Toss, which are actually harder to put the lids onto. They do not leak when knocked on their side, at least so far :) The color change is subtle but the cups are sparkly and that’s enjoyable. I’m considering buying a second set. ... show more

My kids are getting older and i wanted to get them cute fun cups and that are a little more age appropriate and these are so cute and the colors are nice. The kids are to put on but they are super tight love that! Very nice probably will buy more.

I bought two sets and they definitely aren't the same I can't tell if it's supposed to come with brown or orange. But either way the brown cup doesn't change color and neither does another one of them. We tested them all with ice water.
