  • New favorite markers!
Size: Set of 50
***Update*** I’ve finally colored with these markers so I wanted to update my review. I didn’t notice any bleeding on paper, however, my fingers were stained after so take that for what you will. Minimal streaks which is fantastic. I did notice inconsistency in the feel of the marker tips. Some of the tips are softer than others. The softer tips are easier to color wider areas. The stiffer ones are easier for more precise coloring. I prefer the softer tips personally because if I need precision, I’ll use my Fineliners. My guess is over time, all of them will soften up with use so it’s no biggie. The only thing I do wish is that there was more than a single shade of purple. Other than that I’m happy with the variety of colors. Overall, I’m still satisfied with my purchase. ********* I’ve been a fan of Stabilo ever since I purchased their Point 88 Fineliners. I love that these markers coordinate with the Fineliners so if I need a thinner line when I'm coloring, it's nice knowing I can use the same color. No, these aren't the cheapest markers. However, I believe the quality justifies the price. The color flows out nice and even with very minimal bleeding. It also dries very quickly. I haven't experienced any bleeding through paper, however, I've only been coloring on card stock. I LOVE that these pens aren't streaky as I color. That's one of my biggest complaints with pens/markers when I'm coloring and these definitely perform! The storage tin is an added bonus. I wish my fineliners came in something similar. The ONLY negative is that the plastic inserts that hold the pens are thin and hold the pens loosely. So be careful when you take the inserts out of the tin because it would be very easy for all the pens to slip out if you bend/flex the inserts at all. Something to know is that while this is a pack of 50, there are only 46 unique colors. I did not see that in the description, however, I could have missed it. It comes with 2 each of the red (48), blue (32), green (36), and black (46). Those are commonly used colors so it makes sense that they include extras. Overall I'm thrilled with my purchase and I'm sure these pens will get a lot of use! ... show more

  • For those that love the 88 line…
Size: Set of 50
This is the equivalent of the 88 line, but in marker form. Just know that this set does not include all available colors. There are a handful of nice colors like strawberry red that you can buy open stock. This set does include a couple of duplicates (two blacks, two reds, two greens and two blues) plus the neons. It would be better to have all different tones and not as many duplicates, and we know that not everyone likes the neons. Metallics are also not included in this set. ... show more

  • Best Marker Pens Ever
Size: Set of 50
These pens are absolutely fabulous. I have been using the same set of 50 since Christmas of 2018 and I have only had to buy replacements for the colours that I use as background colours. I have a goal to completely finish a colouring book, and these are the pens I am using to do so. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend these pens for colouring in colouring books as they do not bleed through the pages at all and last for forever. The book I'm using is ocean themed (Lost Ocean by Joanna Basford), and the only colours I've run out of are blues and browns that I've used to fill in backgrounds, which is completely understandable. I cannot recommend these markers enough, and the tin they come in is perfect for keeping them organized and tidy. The ONLY complaint I have is that as far as I can tell, one colour is not included in this set. It is the light purple colour (no. 68/49). This is odd to me as the colours red, blue, and black all have duplicates. I remedied this by simply buying an individual light purple and replacing one of my duplicate blues with it. I am a bit of an organization freak when it comes to these pens as knowing exactly where each colour is helps me remember what the colours actually look like on paper, so I placed my light purple directly to the right of the darker purple (no. 68/55). This put it between the dark purple and a dark blue (no. 68/22). I know this is an odd thing to include, but I wanted to make it easier for anyone who is particular with the placement of their pens, too. Overall, these pens are seriously incredible and you should definitely get them if you're considering it. Very pigmented, high quality colours that last forever. 17/10 would recommend. Happy colouring! ... show more

  • Goddesses, I love my Stabilos!
Size: 30 Count(Pack of 1)
Few years ago I bought the 20 Parade package of 68's -- have used them relentlessly and they just keep going and going. A few have finally given of themselves to the very end, so I could justify buying a larger set. I opted for the 30 instead of the 40 or 50, because the 50 has 6 neon, and I don't use neon. Ever. The forty has some very dark colors which I find tricker to work with in felt, and although this thirty set does have 5 shades of grey-black, that's good by me. These are the best pens, really. I have the humongous set of Tombows, and I've noticed that everything I've done with them fades. Not so with these Stabilos. No, these are not fine art, archival pens like Faber-Castell or Coptics. But if you are serious about your creative projects, often gift them to friends, enjoy quality while working, and want a relatively good degree of colorfastness, these are the way to go. The Stabilo point and flow allows you "paint" and you can achieve very detailed work as well covering larger areas without a lot of effort. Colors are rich, saturated, stay true, easy to work with. A staple for so many different types of projects, and absolutely necessary if you love recreational coloring, and use different mediums for different effects. Wouldn't be without them, and I think these are the smartest purchase, even if you're new to Stabilo -- you WILL want a lot of these on hand once you start using them. The 20 color Parade set does have a cool, convenient case if you are space conscious. But these are beautifully transferred to a storage roll if you want, and you can then decorate the tin and make yourself a diptych! ... show more
