Super swell tanning mist. However, it is way more appealing when you can go to your local tjmaxx and get it for 15 dollars instead of 46 but I was in desperate need as I had covid and didn't have the motivation or energy to go out in public and spread the virus. Consider me being a considerate citizen. This brand does not leave you orange and develops into the nicest tan making you look like you just got kissed by the sun in the Bahamas. Again, I wouldn't know because when I went there it was super cloudy and rained so I got no hint of tan from there but I'm assuming that place would leave you looking like this mist does. However, my boyfriend doesn't like the scent as he thinks I smell like a cheeto... which is weird because he eats a lot of cheeto's so you'd think it'd be a pleasant scent to him...to each their own. ... show more

I love St. Tropez self tanning products! I absolutely LOVE being tan all year around. I think it is a must. I would not feel as good about my appearance if I did not either tan outdoors, use UV tanning beds, spray tans, and self tanning products such as this one by St. Tropez. I am Hispanic, so I am not naturally light skinned. I have olive toned skin that tans very easily and rarely, if ever, burns in the sun or under UV lamps. This definitely makes it easier to make all these "fake bake" methods look more natural. Fir those individuals who have faur skin and the typically features associated with being fair, it's a lot more difficult to make self tanners look like a natural, healthy glow and not a over the top crazy orange mess. That's where St. Tropez comes in to save the day! I think that even for those with fair skin, and/or light characteristics, this self tanner is still amazing! The color is perfect, it is 100% BRONZE, with not even a hint of orange. Out of all the many brands of self tanning products I have tired, St. Tropez is #1 when it comes to the beautiful caramel bronze color it provides. Most cheaper brands give off a slightly orange hue in some lighting, especially outdoors, and even more so if you have very fair skin naturally. Another great think about this product is it does not have that terrible fake tan smell... I cannot stand that. It is very easy to apply and pretty much impossible to mess up, which is awesome. The only important nothing remember before applying this self tanning mousse is you must exfoliate your skin, gently of course, before applying. You also need to shave your legs abd any other areas you would typically shave BEFORE application. I think drying the product on the skin after application is the best way to ensure an even result. I simply use a blow dryer to go over every where I applied it, until it feels completely dry, no stickiness or anything. After that I wait the amount of time it directs to wait (between 1 to 3 hours depending on how deep/dark you want the resulting color to be) This is probably my favorite thing about this self tanner. You can customize how dark you want your tan to be by leaving it on more or less time. This whole process is just so easy, no mess, no steaks, no orange, no crazy too dark colors, no awful fake tan smell, and it lasts about a week! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants a flawless bronze tan with just a few easy steps!!! ... show more

This gives a very natural color and I think the spray is easier to apply than a foam . I usually wait the full 3 hours to shower and I feel that the color will still continue to darken a bit after that . It is not sticky or gross feeling once you let it dry for a few minutes you can put loose fitting clothes on and be comfortable . This will be my go to all summer !! ... show more

St.Tropez Express Mousse goes on smoothly. It is easy to apply, just follow the directions! Using the glove makes it all so effortlessly. It leaves a great tan color, not orange at all. The main reason I’m upset with my purchase is for the fact that it only lasted 3 full applications. Other self tan bottles will last me months…so I was disappointed considering the cost. The first time I used this, I didn’t think about my location when I sprayed it on myself. I was in front of my white shower curtain, obviously some of the spray got on my white shower curtain (lucky for me it came out in the wash). So after that…I started applying it in my garage just to be safe (not ideal but didn’t want to risk ruining stuff). I sprayed it on myself and then used a hand mitt to rub it in…helps avoid streaks and creates an even complex. I never spray directly on my hands, feet, knees, or elbows. I just use the mitt to rub it in those areas. I felt like the smell was better than most. One time I sprayed it on my legs right before work and it was totally fine. I also liked the way it felt in my skin…not sticky at all. I have dark sheets on my bed right now so I’m not sure if it stains your sheets. ... show more

My favorite self tanner iv been using this for years ! I spray this on my face every morning and it always looks perfect I never have steaks or blotchy spots. The spray is very even and beyond easy to use!

I looked like a ghost in my swim suit and was not going to lay by the pool looking like that lol! Sprayed this on in the hotel room and viola! Tan city! It works quick, just make sure you let it dry completely

    • Messy, bad buy!
This product is really messy. I normally use Neutrogena fine mist where I can feel it lightly going on, this one the mist is heavy drops so it's hard to tell how much got where. I did this in my large bathtub with towel down. It left a huge mess all over the bathroom. That's never happened to me before with Neutrogena. Also, it takes forever to completely dry. I think it says 10 minutes, I lightly dressed after it was dry on my body, but everything I wore for 2 days had major stains from this product. I thought I was buying a better brand before vacation, but no. After 1 1/2 days, or if I dared put my legs in water it just came off. We were at the beach for 4 days, thankfully I wore long sun dresses most of the time. I have been using self tanning products for quite some time, but this one, even after showering day after continued to leave stains on anything I wore. Will not be buying again. ... show more
