The coins came in a plastic envelope. The container that contained the coins was smashed and several of the coins were damaged. Had another shipment from different vendor that was well packaged in a box to keep item from breaking.

The candy is very fresh. The milk chocolate taste better than hersheys. I did have trouble trying to get the gold foil off but then I found a trick. Bend the coin and the foil pops open making it easy to remove the chocolate, My grandchildren look forward to receiving chocolate gold coins every St. Nick's Day. While the flavor is good, many of the coins crumble when you take them out of the foil. I purchased another brand which were $4 more and they did not do that. Will not buy these again.
