I did an informal benchmark copying a Photos library onto this disk. It took 47 seconds for 15.25GB, which is a real world 325MB/second. I compared it with a Crucial 2TB SSD I have and the Crucial came in about 10% faster, not a big difference especially considering it had much more free space. I think this is a fine product for the capacity, size, weight, speed and price. This came well packaged, and with two cords to make it fit in most situations. It is much smaller than you would think, about 2/3 to side of a playing card or so. Speed was good as well, and as a solid straight drive, I expect it to last a long time.

I use this as backup drive storage for important files. The storage size and physical size are perfect and unobtrusive. I keep it plugged in full time and it works flawlessly. Copying files is lightning quick and far better than using a USB stick.
