Description

The Squier by Fender SA-150 is a full-size steel-string acoustic that offers big sound at a small price. It’s strong enough to stand up to the everyday use (and abuse) that beginning players might throw its way thanks to its all- laminate construction with lindenwood top and mahogany back and sides. This guitar also features scalloped "X"-bracing, a mahogany neck, and a durable dark-stained maple fingerboard to give you an instrument that looks as good as it sounds. Bought this as my first guitar in December 2023 and I've been playing it regularly since then. Note that I'm a complete beginner, so I can't comment on whether this is a good guitar, but it plays very well and sounds great IMO. I bought this guitar as a gift for my girlfriend as she wanted to learn guitar after watching me play for so many years. I got her this guitar because it is probably the best made guitar that you can get in this price range that is beginner friendly i.e. not spending too little to where you get something that never stays in tune and sounds horrible and not spending too much for something that they may only play for a few months and later becomes a decoration. Overall this guitar stays in tune surprisingly well, has great sound and the strings it came with were okay but I ended up replacing them with better ones. The tuners are really stiff and if you do play often I recommend changing them out to something a bit better. ... show more

Not a single weakness. Good little practice Amp. The stand is handy. Keeps the guitar in reach and allows me to grab it and play more often than getting it out of the closet. The Strat sounds amazing. I had a professional performer give it a workout. Blew me away. Holds tune well.
