The fully integrated Square Register lets you start selling right out of the box with payments, software, and hardware all built by Square—no tablets or apps required. Square Register gives you two touchscreen displays: the seller display lets you effortlessly ring up customers, and the customer display lets customers see what they’re buying and pay and tip onscreen. Accept all types of payments, including EMV chip cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay, other NFC payments, and magstripe cards. Pay one low price per swipe, dip, or tap for Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Get funds in your bank account as early as the next business day. The included point-of-sale software helps you take care of everything from managing items and payments to tracking sales in real time and building a customer directory. Square’s hardware is only approved for use in the country for which it is intended. For example, hardware sold or intended for sale in the United States is not approved for use in Australia, Canada, Japan, or the United Kingdom.

I previously bought a register through Square but it was malfunctioning so I returned it and bought this one through Amazon. I read through some other reviews on here saying they received a used product that wasn’t working. Obviously this doesn’t apply to everyone but this wasn’t the case for me. I received a brand new register. I’ve had it for almost a month and it’s been working perfectly. Another review I read claimed that it wasn’t backed by warranty. I called up Square shortly after receiving this register and they confirmed I was covered under warranty until December 2026. It also shows up in my Square dashboard when I search up the register’s serial number. I recommend calling them up as soon as you receive the product to make sure. Has been nothing but issues since we purchased. We weren't new Square customers. We had a basic square terminal, Wanted to upgrade and be able to track our inventory/sales better. Numerous issues, all types if errors that when you look up online people have been having same issue for years. Latest issue, we spent about 10 hours inputting new inventory into the system last week, used it over the weekend then today every single item was gone. Can see the items that sold on past transaction history. They have very limited customer support hours, no weekends. Took me 3 or 4 days to get an email reply about a previous issue that occurred over the weekend. This also doesn't mention when their entire platform lost ability to process credit card payments, they turned off their phone system, so you had no way to contact them. It took 3 or 4 hours for them to even tweet that they were having an issue, system was down 18+ hours. Never an explanation that made sense. Square has the brand name, easy to use for small time sellers that process CC from their phone, but if you're are looking at this item you're going to be mad/frustrated that you wasted your time and money with them, best part is they are so big they don't care. ... show more

Bought this for my small business. Setup was easy and waiting to open the store and get going. Previously owned a wireless square and it worked great as well. Just wanted an upgrade with the new store. 👍🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
