    • Just mount it with big washers and screws!
I saw a lot of complaints about mounting this - but I literally just used 2 big screws and a couple 5/8 inch fender washers and it was done. The holes are 16 on center, so you can hit two studs very easily and its very sturdy. The washers look a little frumpy (and it would be nice if they were included) but they only cost like $2 at home depot. Also, I almost always have at least one mat left on the hanger which covers up the screw holes anyways - so you can't see the screws and washers 95% of the the time. Easy to install. 5/16 lag screw 1" long with washer, Ace hardware $1.61. Used 1 x1 strip of wood 2 ft. long. Screwed the wood into the wall studs with 2 1/2" long sheet rock screws. Then used lag screws and washers to mount mat rack to wood strip. Total time 2 hours with drive to Ace.

Awesome little rack. I didn’t like the length of the two rods sticking out, so I used a grinder to cut about 4” on each side. I bought a few 1/2” screw protectors to put on the ends, and spray painted them black. Turned out pretty sweet. I went into mason so I used x2 sleeve anchors. I think they were 3/8” x 1.5”. Pretty damn sturdy! I’ll end up painting the two bolts place with gloss finish later. ... show more

    • Good . . . but seriously, no mounting hardware?
This exercise rack is well made and can hold lots of either 3/8" or 5/8" exercise mats. Like other reviewers, I'm baffled why it wouldn't come with screws and wall anchors. The holes for hanging it are large - maybe 1/2" in diameter. So hanging it with "normal" size drywall anchors is challenging, even with washers. However, the distance between the two holes lined up perfectly with two studs in the room where I was installing it. I purchased two three inch long 3/8" lag screws and drilled a pilot hole for each one into a stud. Then I installed the rack. It's not going anywhere now. Great item, but come on SPRI. Charge $0.25 more and include some mounting hardware. ... show more

    • THERE ARE NO MOUNTING ANCHOR'S, SCREWS, ETC.
The product is simple, clean and sturdy. I'm NOT a hand person but I can get things done... however with any anchor, screws, etc., this will be frustrating task for me.
