    • Fun little Push Your Luck game!
If you like Dice Rolling with a little Push Your Luck, this game is great! Unlike Farkle/Yahtzee, this game has a lot more depth and variation of play. There are a lot of different “trick” cards that allow you do do different types of actions (“Roll 3, keep 1” etc.), as well as a lot of dogs which vary in difficulty. But dogs with more difficulty can provide you with stronger actions on your turn. Then there are the “treat” tokens which allow you to reroll, but it can get ugly when you use them repetitively and you don’t get what you want! The theme is family friendly and while it’s “Yahtzee” ish game it does add a few layers of control/strategy which means this will appeal to gamers who enjoy games where they have choices to support their outcomes. Only drawbacks are some tricks can be hard to decipher, and there is limited player interaction (picking tricks which impacts what is available for other players, and the race to fill 6 dogs). This one will be staying in the collection. Very easy to get to the table, which is half the battle! :) ... show more

    • Fun and easy game
This game is fun and easy. It is not a game of high strategy, but rather of granular tactics. The rules are simple enough for children to play, and have enough nuance for adults to enjoy as well.

    • Fun push your luck game! Decisions are meaningful
The game came in perfect condition and is an extremely easy-to-learn and fun game. There is a fair amount of luck in the game because it is a push your luck type of game. Each turn, players have to decide what action to do based on the available options that are not flipped over. Players can mitigate bad rolls with treats which are reroll tokens. I feel these tokens are very powerful because a player can hoard them all up and deny other people rerolls. Even with all of the luck required, the game feels very balanced. I've played at 2-4 player counts and each game has everyone close to winning. Even with players using different approaches (playing safe versus gambling all in) the games are fairly close a majority of the time. ... show more

    • Great game, would be 5 stars if the dog cards were higher quality.
Fun and cute little game, short enough to not get too frustrated over the luck aspect. I'm sure I'll be playing it for a long time to come. The cards are some of the thinnest in my collection and it's a huge bummer. I almost want to scan them and print them on thicker cards but that's probably an infringement of some kind. It's a bummer, but 3 stars sounded too harsh because the game is otherwise great. ... show more

    • Simple game with lots of variety in card selection, and cool dice.
Simple to learn game. The dice are fun and the spots on the dogs are cute. Interesting game mechanic of selecting an action and flipping it over till one action remains then they all get reset. Sometimes you're forced to take an action you weren't planning and sometimes it pays out big, sometimes you bust. Fun game the multiple groups I've played with have all enjoyed playing. ... show more

    • Super Easy Dice Roller for even your most board game averse friends/family!
Great fun in a little box. Bought for a dog lover and it was a big success! We had 6 people so we made couples play as teams and it worked better than I expected. Turns are fast and suspenseful as everyone keeps trying to get the numbers or trick that would most benefit them. Lots of replay ability because of the different kinds of tricks you can set the game up with (Think Sushi Go Party! if you're familiar). Almost tempted to buy a second copy for myself! ... show more
