The pads do fit well and provide the extra protection around its edges. It does mean more of the leg has some restricted airflow, however did not sweat any more than regular ones. WOW - these are the REAL DEAL! The first thing that struck me was how strong the outer material was - it felt like supple leather, and moved just like it. The next thing that was the very ample, very breathable inner padding which made these rather comfortable, especially for a long match. And last, but certainly not least, the last thing that struck me was how light in weight these were. This certainly will be a major plus, making it easier and faster to move, as well as to contributing to making it comfortable. These aren't the fanciest most high end cricket batting ey pads I've ever used, but these are far from the worst either. These are definitely pretty good. They are pretty lightweight but sturdy enough to actually protect you against that super fast hard ball. The fit is fine. Light but protective padding: These pads are very light and easy to move around in, but also provide great protection to the batsman with robust coverage on the sides of the legs (facing the bowler) as well as in the front. Flexible and easy to put on: These pads have no problem staying in position when moving around, and fit me great (I'm 6'2" for reference). I never thought I would like cricket until I ordered a cricket bat on a whim. First, I don't understand the game, but always watch it when on late night sports channels when I can't sleep. I like it now do I want to immerse myself in the game. I bought wickets and have the bat, now I needed the batting pads. These are really nice pads that fit your well snuggly, but give you the freedom to move. I have taken a few hit to the legs on a wicked googly and the pads perfectly protected my knees.     • Crucial piece of Cricket equipment, we really love the authentic feel of it.
These pads are really nice , they fit both adults and teens. We felt much more secure to tilt in towards the ball with these being worn. The pads are worth the price and need to be worn to really feel like your playing true pitch cricket.
