I'm coming from Otterbox, so I will say that it doesn't have quite the large soft rubber outer coating. That said, the soft outer coating is what made the buttons fall off and why I had to order this one. I got YEARS out of the Otterbox so I'm not saying it wasn't worth it but I'm over soft buttons. This case is all hard plastic and maybe that will last longer or not but I did drop it once already and everything seems fine. The back holder does hold two credit cards as advertised and not a single one more. I use it for my casino players club cards because I always forget them and I don't have room for them in my kastanza wallet anyway. I love the looks I get too like you degen mofo.. It could be good for girls though too if they want to hold their ID and a main credit card with clothes that have no or few pockets or something. It feels and looks sturdy though and who doesn't love secret compartments! ... show more

Great case allows you to leave your wallet at home in many cases and it manages to keep a fairly slim profile. Only downside is it can be a bit of a challenge to get the cards out, may just be my fat fingers.

Love this case... I've always bought the slim Spigens, so knew the durability was excellent, but this compartment on the back is game changing! Can fit 2 credit cards or 1 card & your license - great for walking for going out. I've had this for almost 4 months now and the door/sliding lid still functions perfectly. If for some reason it stops clicking shut, I will literally just buy another one! ... show more

I first bought this case 2 phones ago. Absolutely love it! It takes a beating! I have dropped my phone several times and had no damage done to it. I've had my phone case for almost 2 years and it has held up well. For a reason unknown to me, my 4 year old was attempting to take the case off and it broke. That is why I just bought my second case for my current phone. The phone is still in perfect condition and I rarely carry a purse anymore. I've been using Spigen cases exclusively for several years. They are tough, attractive and perform their job excellently. The only drawback is that after a couple of years when the phone inevitably dies, you're left with a practically pristine, but empty case.

I don't carry a purse often. On my previous case, I had a little card holder stuck to the back to hold the essentials, but that stuck out and made the phone awkward to hold. I loved the idea of being able to tuck my ID, credit cards, and cash inside of the case. I was disappointed when I got it and realized there's only enough room inside for two credit cards and it's really easy to tell the compartment is there. So, I ended up having to attach a little card holder to the back anyway. Also, sometimes the compartment slides open if I hold it wrong.
