I was wanting something less bulky as well. This case is fairly slim but I feel like it still gives good protection for my iPhone. The screen protector was easy to install and does not effect the operation of the touch screen. As for being non slip,,, it is not as grippy as some. The case I had before was very grippy, hard to get out of your pocket. This one is easy to hold on to, and if you lay it screen side down on a smooth surface it doesn't slide without some resistance. I love the color, Ive gotten so many compliments for it. Easy to install and its protected my phone from so many falls (I am clumsy and I work as a aircraft technician who is always on the move). It doesnt make my phone feel too bulky either. I love it overall.

The phone fits nice and tight in the case. First insert into the flexible section, then insert the phone in the flexible section into the strong rigid exterior. All the openings for ringer, volume, plug all line up perfectly. There are some ridges on the left and right side top 1/3 of the case that are likely intended for grip but otherwise it is not slip resistant. The screen protector is not perfect. There is a small but noticeable margin around the entire screen leaving it susceptible to damage. I have dropped my phone twice and cringed but didn't see one iota of damage to my phone or the case; not even a scuff mark. I recommended purchasing this product. ... show more

This case is still kicking. It's nice and light, doesn't bulk up my phone much. It's easy to remove and take apart for cleaning, but stays nice and snug on my phone. The buttons are still responsive with the case on. The design is minimal, with no brand labeling like some other cases. However, the coloring is a bit off, the rendered marketing pictures are a lot more saturated than the physical product. (I got light green expecting and it ended up being closer to a pastel blue-ish-green) I'm very prone to dropping my things, and after investing in an expensive phone this has been a life saver in keeping it looking brand new. Paired with a decent screen protector, I'm never worried about having dropped my phone. The only wear and tear after all this time is on the silicone. I bought two cases to try for my phone. One that had more reviews and this one. I have to say that I’m really impressed with the sturdiness of this case. I sent the other one back after seeing this one. I like that it’s a 2 piece case because I think this will add further protection. I’m not using the clear screen protector as I already have one on my phone. I like the way it feels in my hand.
