I got this because the reviews online said it was great for a variety of plants. I have a couple trees as well as smaller plants so I wanted a big light bar. It’s so bright you can barely look at it, which is great. It’s cleared designed for their proprietary mounting system, which makes it tricky to mount on your own setup. I’ve tried out so many LED grow lights/shop lights from Amazon over the last few years, all ranging in price, and this one has been the absolute best. My plants responded immediately. It doesn’t run hot. The light is pleasant in the room - not abrasive like some others. Like others have said it does not have an on/off switch but I use a smart power strip for my grow lights anyway. There is one red diode that is dimmer than the others - after speaking with the company it turns out that’s intentional and an infared bulb. I ordered this light and a few others from Spider Farmer. This light quit working. I contacted Spider Farmer to get it replaced. I made and sent a video showing the problem. I was told I needed to replace the power supply. It would be $15 to get it mailed. Me needing the light right now I went and purched the plug locally. I made sure all the numbers matched before I purchased the new power supply. Still did not work. I reached out to them again, I told them the new power supply did not work. It's Been 9 days and no response. My light is still under warranty but I get the run around and no response. I will never order from a company that wont make good on a warranty. I was looking to purchase 142 1000 watt lights for our commercial grow before this incident. There loss! ... show more

So far the plants love it. The top reflector feels kinda cheesy, but actually appears to be high impact plastic and it's white. Light weight, good reflectivity, very bright (but not adjustable), driver is NOT on top of light, but on 6' cord. Good statistics. I'd give it a solid 8/10.
