As an older woman (turning 60 this year), I need a watch face that is both big, and easy to read. These are 38mm across (1.5"), 40mm (1 and 5/8") including the crown, with big numbers, and red highlights (24-hour time and the second-hand sweep), making reading the time quick and easy. The soft silicone bands are comfortable, and easy to adjust.     • Bulky wristband
I am not real happy with the silicone wrist band. It is bulky, I am left handed so it gets in my way when I am writing. I thought the hands would glow in the dark, they do not.

    • Would be a great work watch… if it kept time.
I love the color and bold face which makes it easy to read. But (and this is a big but in a watch purchase!!) it DOES NOT keep accurate time. I bought this in December and now it’s dead (it’s barely March!). Previously, it would not make it through a 24 hour shift on a medic unit and still be accurate— I’d have to adjust to the correct time by middle of the shift. I told myself the most important thing is that I have a second hand for heart and respiratory rates, but I still need a watch that keeps time as well. Now it does none of those things.     • Definitely recommend this watch and company
I originally bought this watch almost a year ago. About 6 months after I bought it, it started losing time or stoping for periods of time. So, on September 1st I contacted Speidel. They have a 2 year warranty. I told them what was happening with my watch and they offered to send me a new one, no problem. I was thrilled. The lady I talked to said they may not have the same band color I ordered in stock, so it may take a few weeks. I told her they could just send me whatever color they had. I'm in nursing school so I need a working watch with a second hand. Well, my watch came today from Speidel, and not only did they send me a new watch with a gray band, but they also sent a replacement teal band (the color I wanted) and a tool to make replacing the band easier. I am not a nurse or in the medical field. I bought this watch for the style and easy to read numbers. The hour and minute hands reflect the light so you can even read the time in the dark. It has seconds in red and military hours in red. Great watch. Very reasonable cost.
