I like this case, it's effective. It's just that the rounded back is not as aesthetically pleasing as I wish it was--i.e., it'd be nice if it was squared off and flat. But that aside, it really feels like it is protecting the phone. I like it.

Pros: tough, full body coverage, great accessibility of ports, works well with the Zenfone AR Supershieldz screen protector, looks good assuming you like clear phone cases (which I'm not normally a fan of but I've learned to like the look of this one since I couldn't find the black version cheaply). Cons: can be overpriced. Speck prices this and its black Zenfone AR case at around $40 which is obscene for what you're getting. Right now this case seems to be available for $5 or so (usually pre-owned) which sounds about right. Unfortunately, the Zenfone AR has few case options that appear to be any good. The AR is a very nice phone and you'll want to protect it. Soft TPU cases like the kinds made by Spigen are sometimes stylish and convenient. But with a phone like this you really want a tougher case and sadly there are few options. Thank goodness these Speck cases exist and that they've become more affordable over time.
