This table is approximately the size of a dining room table. Obviously smaller than regulation, but I was more interested in portability. I used to have a full size table and those are very hard to store, or move around. I like that this table is easy to fold up and place in a closet or back seat. It’s also made of tougher material than MDF, which can break down over time. The net is very easy to install once the table is raised, but the center line is slightly off from one side to the other. I would have given this table five stars, but the protection inside the box was poor. Consequently it suffered a few small dents around the metal frame during shipping. This wasn’t enough cause to return, but the manufacturer should secure and protect these tables better prior to sending them out where they are most likely to take damage. ... show more

Ordered twice came damaged twice. Once with the bolts busted off, next with a hole in the top and the plastic corners cracked. Shipping packaging is too thin to keep it protected. The chances of it coming damaged are very high. It’s disappointing because it is a solid built table.

This is a sturdy table. The laminated blue top is quite durable and smooth. This is a heavy little table. It folds in half and and has handles to carry it by and a latch to keep it closed. There are posts for the net that hinge out of the way when the table is folded for storage. The six legs are made of aluminum each with a steel brace that folds like those used on the legs of a card table. Each leg has a screw out foot to level the table. The table top has an aluminum edge all around the outside. This aluminum edge also has a corner lip that comes a 1/4 of an inch along the outside edge of the top to protect the edge from chipping. But this aluminum edging wraps onto the top surface. When the ball hits it, it can take a weird bounce. You can either determine ahead of time that if this happens play continues and however weird the bounce, it is what it is. Or you could say that if the ball hits this aluminum edging it is automatically replayed. On a table this small, it seems the ball hits this edging fairly often. The included paddles.and balls are standard equipment. Not the best, but certainly not the worst either. The net is a custom size. I think it may be slightly lower than a standard ping-pong net. It seems well made with loops that go over the steel net poles. It is tight when installed. This system works ok but it would be nice to have a net that extended past the edges of the table. There is room to store all these items inside the folded table. The ball seems to bounce on this table the same way it would on a full sized table but because of the smaller size the angles are different and the game is a bit slower. Serving is more cautious. Players do not need to move from side to side as much as with a full sized version. But do stretch out before playing. There are more Achilles tendons ruptured playing ping-pong than in any other sport. It should maybe also be pointed out that this table only folds one direction. Many full sized tables have special hinge systems that allow one half of the table to fold up rather than down. In this manner an individual can play by him or herself, allowing the ball to bounce off the folded-up top. Much less room is needed to play with this 6 foot x 3 foot table than a standard 9 foot x 5 foot table. You can't really hit the ball as hard so there is little reason to play further away from the table to recover a hard hit shot. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was expecting this to be much bigger, but I am so glad that it is not. This is so cool and it really is a space saver because while it's not a mini-table by any means it does fill up my living room. It is perfect for rooms that don't have a ton of extra space, or for setting up outside. It says that it is a ten minute set up, but it's more like a 2 or 3 minute set up because all you have to do is open up the table, unfold the two sets of legs on each end and also the one set in the middle, then put the net on the holders. It is a very nice blue color, which adds to the aesthetics of it. The frame is industrial strength and reinforced just like a professional full size table would be! This table is actually very solid and substantial. Just imagine shrinking a professional tournament table down by about 25%, and that's about what this looks like. Even the net is very high quality and not frail, but very well made. We were just as impressed with the paddles that came with it because the are professional grade. They could have gone cheap and thrown in a set of paddles that were junk just to say that they included paddles. However, that was not the case, they went above and beyond and included nice ones. The paddles are wooden and have a very nice finish to them, and the rubber is definitely of good quality. We tested this ping pong table out in our small living room and had so much fun! It is big enough to be able to have fun with, yet small enough to be able to set it up inside of a smaller house. If you know how to play ping pong you will be able to play inside of your house without it flying into breakable objects. After you are done playing, it folds nicely up and has a latch that holds it together. This is much better than described, we highly recommend, and it is so much fun! ... show more
