I wanted a four cup model and this is that just barely. I bought the white model and I'm curious to see if it will get cruddy looking and stained. For now it's a nice departure from black. Brews fast and hot. The buts: 1. The plastic carafe spout isn't much of a "v" so water spills while you're pouring into the unit. 2. The plastic carafe - it's going to get cruddy looking over time I'm pretty sure 3. The groves on the "grate" under the carafe are very deep - making cleaning an issue 4. The controls are on the side so one day I mistakenly left the unit on all day. 5. If you make a large latte - filling the water carafe full at one time - you will need to add water for any frothing. Would I buy again - probably not, would try another comparably priced unit instead. ... show more
