Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. They are LOUD and sound great when loud. There are plug in jbl models that have good reviews, but I was looking for something completely wireless. These are very durable, and the battery life is phenomenal. Not to mention that you can replace the battery. I plan on using these for years, and so no reason not to be able to. My wife loves them too. If you buy here, or on Sounboks website and register them on the app, you get extra warranty-3 years from the factory. Pairing 2 is very easy, and the app is simple to use, and intuitive.
