    • Does the job for a reasonable price
I got this soundbar to use at a seasonal rental. My wife is hearing impaired and uses earphones but when I plug her transmitter into one of the audio out ports the tv speakers shut off and I can't hear the tv. I wasn't looking for great sound just adequate and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Since the tv was wall mounted I only had access to the aux out ports on the side of the tv. Connecting was easy and the sound was better than the tv speakers but not jaw dropping by any means. I connected to the earphone out port and I had to turn up the volume much more than I did with the tv speakers to get the same sound level but it worked and it does the job I bought it for and at a reasonable price. The surround sound is of course not real surround but creates an illusion of surround sound and it does succeed to some extent. I liked this one better than another I returned. It's much easier to determine which mode or input source I'm set to without having to memorize light color changes. I would recommend this soundbar for noticeably better sound at an affordable price. Update: We've been using this bar for a couple of weeks. I have to say the sound is crystal clear. We bought this so that we could add earphones for my wife who is hearing impaired but the sound is so clear that she doesn't even need the earphones anymore. We are very happy with this sound bar and we highly recommend it, especially for people with hearing issues. ... show more

    • Good value for a budget monitor sound bar
No issues with this monitor. It is what it's supposed to be. A compact, budget sound bar with good overall sound and enough bass/richness to excede monitor built-in speakers and make movie watching enjoyable. Easy to set up and operate. Simple remote. Pretty good variety of features and options. Only possible complaint would be sound volume. Can't really crank it up... but then, that isn't the purpose of this little gem. ... show more

I don’t normally write reviews for products I purchase. But, before I bought this soundbar, I was very skeptical due to low reviews about sound quality. So I was a little worried before receiving the soundbar. I gotta say though, I was expecting sound that was a little bit better than my tv speakers. After hooking everything up which was super easy, upon turning it on with a song I was blown away by the clarity and the bass. I hated my tv speakers. They would constantly distort and rattle even at low volume. I love this soundbar. I can’t believe it’s this cheap. The fact that I can use Bluetooth as well is a plus. Unfortunately, I could only use optical because my Vizio tv doesn’t have Bluetooth. But wow have I been impressed. Of course it’s not the surround sound you get with expensive soundbars, but to have something thats better than your tv speakers, it’s worth it. It’s not too big and it’s pretty sleek. I’m thinking of purchasing another in the future. I’m gonna replay ps5 games I beat and watch movies/ tv shows again just to experience the awesome sound quality. Goodbye crappy tv speakers. You won’t be missed. I highly recommend this product. P.S: I find that the movie mode equalizer on the soundbar is the best one. It has the awesome clarity and bass that I spoke of. ... show more

    • Surprisingly excellent
I read many reviews (and watched a couple) about this speaker before purchasing it and it didn't take long to set up at all or test. I'll get right to the point. I configured iTunes to output sound quality at 192,000Hz, 24 bits quality to test this speaker to the max with regards to clarity and I've got to say: I'm very impressed with this little speaker. According to Windows 11 audio settings, it is only capable of 44,100Hz, 16 bit output. So that's not exactly the best quality but it is good enough for my needs. It's actually quite potent for my needs, and I don't feel the need to max out the volume to hear it well. I have it placed about 24-30" away from me on my desk and it is sitting directly on my desk in front of my monitor. Its size is quite feasible, doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk, nor does it look out of place at all. It practically fades into nonexistence and the Bluetooth transmission rate is fast enough to not experience a delay when watching videos on YouTube, which I am very pleased with because that means one less cable for me to have to hook up to connect to my computer for sound. I have only been using it for an hour or two, but I have been quickly very impressed with this little speaker. Very impressed. I hope it holds up to many years of listening. Only time will tell but first impressions are very positive. ... show more
