This was super easy to put together. They say it can hold up to 370 lbs -- I would mistrust that. They don't tell you what it's made of! I think it's pretty sturdy, but I wouldn't count on it holding up to much abuse for too long. It folds and has a sturdy "board" to put in the bottom and the top holds everything in place. I put it at the foot of my bed to help my dog get onto the bed (it's great for that!) and also to sit on occasionally when I'm dressing;. It doesn't wobble when I sit gently on it. It holds a lot for its size. I bought a "used-like new" one and it had noticeable damage on one corner of the lid. Hardly like new. But, for my needs, I decided to keep it and just turn that side to the bed. ... show more

I didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted something that was sturdy and well cute. LOVE the purple color and the suede fabric is super soft. It went together easily and seems to be sturdy and so far is perfect for my needs. I don't really need the storage but seriously it's a bonus to have. I love it it's spacious the lid has some weight to its perfect for sitting/reading/storing. Base a little flimsy but the lid sets it in place.
