I got these for my toddler daughter's room, and the end result is fantastic!! I needed a bookshelf that would fit in the only small space in her room, but everything I looked at was too big and bulky or ugly looking, but then I came across these that just hang on the wall. They fit perfectly in that space! I purchased 2 of the 15 inch sets of 3 shelves, and put 2 side-by-side to make 3 - 30 inch wide shelves. I used a drill, screwdriver, a 4ft level, a hammer, a pencil, and a magic eraser. I first decided where I wanted to hang the first shelf. Starting at the bottom using the 4ft level, making sure it's straight and level, I made a mark all the way across w/the pencil. Then holding the shelf up on the pencil line, I mark where the 2 holes are, and mark each side. Held up the 2nd shelf next to where the 1st shelf was using the side mark and mark the other 2 shelf holes. Now I drilled the holes in the marks using a 3/16ths drill bit. DO NOT USE THE ANCHORS THAT COME WITH THE SHELVES- THEY ARE WORTHLESS! I tried to use one and when I tried to tap it in with a hammer it hardly went into the hole, the plastic was so soft that it just squashed up and I had to pull it out with pliers, so I just ended up using my own 3/16ths inch wall anchors. Tapped them in with a hammer, I did use the screws that came with the shelves and they worked with the anchors no problem. Then i set the shelves onto the screws (don't screw them onto the wall just yet) to make sure they fit side by side together, and I put some books on the shelf to gauge the height where the next shelf should go. Again, I use the level to make a horizontal, level line, and while the shelves are still up on the wall, hold the level vertically on both sides and mark straight up w/pencil about 2-3ft (now you can perfectly align the other shelves directly above the 1st set between those side marks), then take off the books and shelves from the wall, repeat the above steps for the next 2 sets of shelves. Then once all the holes/anchors/screws are set in the wall, use the magic eraser to erase all the pencil marks. Put the shelves on the screws and use the screwdriver to gently tighten the screws down onto the shelves, (don't over tighten or you can crack the shelves) making sure they're straight and you're all set. I know that seems like a lot, but it's really not. I'm a 40 year old woman, and it only took about an hour to do everything, and it came out so much better than I could've even imagined! I bought these shelves for our baby nursery, it’s the perfect size and looks great!! I would recommend paper back books for these shelves as they are not wide enough to hold more than a few hard back books. They are also a useful way to display cards! I’m very pleased with this purchase!!

I’m glad I found this deal for cheaper and with more shelves !! It came out great buttt there’s a huge BUT in there lol. In my classroom I can’t drill into the wall, so I had to use an alternate. I purchased command strips the strong picture frame kind that can hold up to 16lbs using 4 of them. It works great except for the fact that If any of my students pull on it , it will fall and drop, also because of the width, I have to angle the books so they won’t fall off, I also kept the light smaller books on them because it’s attached to a double door ,( on the side that doesn’t opens) if the door slams hard , the vibration can cause the heavy books to fall off. If I could drill them into the walls, I would have 0 problems, anyways i love it, it looks so awesome and my kids have learned how to be gentle with the books and shelves. The other shelves attached high up on the walls are for teacher books, when I’m doing circle time and I need to read a story. ... show more

Absolutely worth the money. 4 pc for 18.99 was a steal. We’re obsessed with my daughter‘s library corner (at least mom is). Also super easy to install, took me less than 45 mins to install (with all the measurements and all). No words but love love love. Definitely recommend!
