These sconces are such a great value. I’ll start by saying, we did not hardwire these lights. I used rechargeable lights for the area in which we installed these, so simply hanging them up was a breeze. Using the rechargeable puck lights (they just rest on top of the spot where you’d screw in the bulb) makes it so you can install these quickly in areas where you may not have an easily accessible way to hardwire them. For around $30 for two, this is a great deal and an easy way to add character to your home. We installed these near a gallery wall in our home and they really add to the space. I’d recommend these! I ordered these to hang on the wall beside my bed as I do not have much space on my tiny nightstands for lamps, so I thought to try these and see. I am so glad I did! I ordered rechargeable puck lights instead of hardwiring them, mostly because I didn't want to run lines, or incur the expense for an electrician. The frames are lightweight, the shade is bright, crisp, and clean looking against the soft cream of my walls. Overall, for $25 these are a steal! They are okay. The instruction were just a few photos, but if you have some knowledge of screws and dry wall anchors you will be fine. The dry wall anchors were pretty cheap and bent when we used them but they supply you with a few extra. The bottom of the rod will poke in a certain direction and can be hard to get both of them to match (if you are using both of the scones). If you didn't want to use the screws you could probably get away with using a command strip and hook to mount it, since there is enough room behind the round black base to hide it and the light isn't that heavy. ... show more
