It's not like you're standing on the thing for hours on end, so it is not a deal breaker that the rug really isn't all that soft. The material itself is fine, but it is like you can feel the stitching underneath (??)--it makes it feel sort of knotty and scritchy on the feet. Not awful, just not entirely pleasant. Generally, I like this rug. It’s a good quality and has a nice strong, stiff nonslip backing to prevent it from scrunching up. It doesn’t interfere with my robot vacuum which can easily get stuck on small rugs so that is a big plus for me. So far it has washed well without the loosing shape. I wash it on cold water and air dry it. My main complaint is that the color is not as pictured. I deliberately bought this rug because it looks like a very dark, navy blue, which was what I wanted. In person, the rug is much brighter and looks more like a medium to dark royal blue color. I wish I had returned it, but I didn’t. So now I’m stuck with the color. ... show more

I love the softness and durability of this rug especially after the shower. One of the first rugs that has held up it’s word. The only thing is after a couple washes, it will start to fall apart which I’m devastated about! I will have to purchase another and wash it more delicate to keep the life on it. Other than that, I loved it! Got this on a great deal so can’t complain ... show more

We have been through numerous rugs that claim to be absorbent and or quick dry so I started skeptical. To my surprise it really does absorb well and dry quickly. Worth getting another for sure!
