Just received my light 2 days early . Light was packaged excellent . Plenty of padding . Initial inspection it rivals the spider farmer light I bought a few months ago . Pretty much the same light with a couple differences like the heat sink thickness and diode placement . The drivers are a tiny bit bigger . But there both samsung diodes with mean well drivers which was a big deal as far as what I was looking for. After turning the light on it Bright as F. Just as bright at my other light . Very excited about it overall . Also very happy to help out a small business especially during these times . Nice hand written note from the owner making it feel like a personal purchase . So as far as I’m concerned the value of this light is incredible. Wish I had found sonofarm before I bought my SF. But hey , if I can help anyone else out and save them a few bucks so be it . I’ll do a follow up in a couple months to let you guys know the results . ... show more

I've been looking for a way to spread even light coverage over the entire footprint of the 3'x3' tent. 4 of the pro series 1000's got me there. Larger lights by design have a large hotspot in the center when looking at provided par maps. There are larger bar arrays available but cost prohibitive, this way i figure i can just add more if i bump up to a 4' x 4'. The other benefit of this approach is that you can independently raise and lower lights, and daisy chaining them together allows for easy separation of single lights from the chain, in case of plants stretching etc. There is a 5 year warranty on these things somehow, which is awesome. I haven't checked true wattage draw, I have no need to, par coverage is as advertised. The one gripe I have, and it's nothing to do with sonofarm really which is why i didn't deduct stars, is the diameter of the carabiners for the ratcheting clips, they never seem to fit on a grow tent cross bar. Zip ties work well for this, but you are still losing height no matter what. Again, there are only so many places that manufacture these things and its not like you have much choice if you need to stay within certain retail parameters. Dimming function works well, I like that there is standoffs between the drivers and the heatsink, couldn't be happier with the purchase ... show more

What an awesome product, and an even better Company! Been reviewing and researching LEDs for a few months now, before coming across the SonoFarm SF Pro Series 2000! I was just about to purchase a comparable light from a bigger company, when I found this light! Identical specs to lights from SF and MH, at HALF THE PRICE! The material is all top notch quality, and the light itself is solid and doesn't feel cheap like many other lights! Comes with a 5 year warranty, and you also get the joy of knowing you are supporting an American Small Business! There was an issue with the 2 day shipping, due to FedEx, nothing to do with the seller, I contacted sonofarm to let them know, and immediately heard back from someone letting me know I would be refunded for the 2 day shipping! A+ customer service! I will be definitely be purchasing all of my LED lights from Sonofarm in the future! ... show more

First off, I’m a cheapskate. My initial statement is I am an avid “for fun” grower. Not commercial, and not a slum. I prefer to try my best at whatever I do and this hobby is no exception. With that said, I am very happy with my purchase. The company is great to work with. The lights are produced with quality. Like anything in life, more money can get you higher specs, but honestly, my pro 4,000 is doing a great job in my 5x5 thus far. You should give the American made company a chance for yourself ... show more

    • Excellent lights at a reasonable price!
The media could not be loaded. Purchased two of these lights to replace my SpiderFarmer SP2000s after dealing with an awful experience with the company. SpiderFarmer sent me the wrong product (older model, no dimmer), then refused to admit fault even after providing photos of them, and wouldn't replace it, but instead asked me to pay for shipping to send it back to them to get it "repaired". After several days of frustration and hassle, I decided to return them to Amazon and purchase these lights instead. These lights are amazing, you're buying from an American company, and my lights came with a beautiful handwritten note from the owner. These lights also contain more red and IR LEDs than the SP2000s, which should provide better performance for flowering than the SpiderFarmer models. These lights are more reasonably priced than SpiderFarmer, provide better quality light for your plants, you're supporting an American family company, and the customer service is exceptional. You can't "grow" wrong! ... show more

This light is amazing! Beautifully crafted, simple and functional. Grab them for the price while you can I’m sure a product this good will only go up in price. I love the dimmer function on this product I’m able to give my plants just the right amount of light at any given time. These photos are only about 50% of the brightness this light gives off. On about 80%-100% power these lights give off great heat and will noticeably warm the soil. I will continue to buy sono farm products for there great customer service and products! They are extremely helpful and professional! ... show more
