They have a switch that has three settings of brightness, the cord to plug in is nice and long so easy to reach an outlet and the assemble was simple! These lights are awesome. For my daughters room. At first I thought they would be too bright for her to sleep, but found there are three brightness setting, and it is perfect. The lights against her gray curtains looks awesome with the cascading colors. She is giddy with excitement. Def recommend.

I've actually bought this item twice I loved it so much, I broke my first one by accident as the cord got stuck in a chair I was moving. Incredibly sad because I really loved it, I just forked out the money and went again.

I bought these for my daughters room to use as a night light - an alternative to the bright lamp she insists on sleeping with. We were both thrilled with the colors when we first turned it on - a perfect fit for her unicorn room. Later that night, the lights turned off on their own, which scared my daughter. I figured it was a fluke so tried again the next night…same problem. Now into night three and the lights started flickering and then went out. To make matters worse, I went to unplug the lights and found the USB to be SO hot. That’s scary! Really wish these worked because otherwise they would be a perfect solution to our night light problem. :( UPDATE: we got a replacement set and same problem, again, stopped working on the same day. But I switched the USB plug out and now they’ve been working fine for a week. Changing my stars to 4 - maybe the seller should include a new USB plug? Though I’ve seen many reviews of these not lasting long so we shall see what happens! ... show more

I have a Jeep named “Cosmic Ray” that is all galaxy and space themed. I have these lights wrapped around every post and some hanging down, and they are perfect! The lights are very bright and receive many compliments from other drivers and passersby. Powered via USB, they are very easy to install and use. I had an issue with the first set I ordered, but they were replaced by the very next day with an easy return process. Great value!
