I have decent skin-no blackheads or sebaceous filaments to speak of really. About a year ago, I had a small flesh colored tag show up on my forehead and I decided to keep an eye on it. I really really like this toner. I only use it at night because of the resurfacing components. If you use during the day, please wear sunscreen!! It smells nice, clean, and refreshing. It has helped with tiny bumps on my face, shrinking pores, and some discoloration. So far it has not worked for true melasma. Follow with your favorite moisturizer. I think it's OK for sensitive skin as long as you don't over use it or apply too harshly. Decent price. I am a repeat purchaser of this product and don't ever want to be without! ... show more

I purchased this based on the oodles of 5 star reviews. My skin is generally very good but as I’ve gotten older (I’m > 40) I’ve started to have minor break outs and noticed my skin is not as bright as it used to be. I’ve always used what I believed are good (but expensive) facial products (la mer has been a staple for me) but I read about Korean skin care and gave this a try. For the first two weeks I didn’t notice any change at all. But I kept going thinking I’d do the 30 days. About 14 days in I broke out on my chin, and near one eyebrow. That cleared up quickly- but then every day it was something. At day 30 I almost stopped using this toner. I got a super dry patch (size of dime) near my eyebrow and I’d been broken out for two weeks at that point. I came back to Amazon and read more reviews and someone said you have to ensure the purge. So, I persisted. I’m so glad I did. I’m at 6 weeks now. Using this toner twice a day and my skin looks amazing. My skin is bright and clear. For me it took more than 30 days to see the “miracle” but I’m really glad I stuck it out. I’ll keep using this. I was skeptical but I needed to try something. I just turned 49 and spent a lot of time exposed to the elements on flight line and carrier decks. It’s been 3 weeks and I’ve noticed the normally oily spots aren’t and the dry areas have eased up. I didn’t take before photos but I’ve noticed a difference in pores being smaller and less irritation. It’s light on the skin and feels refry after wash and mud mask. I have tried countless toners. Literally countless. Most have some type of problem, too strong, too weak, a terrible scent, overpriced, you name it. This toner is super calming and made my skin instantly feel better. Tea tree is an effective ingredient, but normally the smell is unbearable. This product smells contains tea tree water and smells like peppermint, and the scent overwhelming. It is a great product for my sensitive, but break out prone skin. It's not cheap, but is not overpriced and is worth every penny. I have already ordered two more bottles, because I don't want to risk being without it. I love.
