Nothing like natural linen and light linen is gorgeous and matches with anything. I wash in washing machine with Wool wash and NO dryer. I hang outside to dry. For stains I use dish soap and alittle bit of oxygen cleaner and let set for awhile and wash and reappear if stain is still there. Love the look of natural linen, I feel that stains come out easier than on cotton. ... show more

Linen wrinkles very badly, whether it's scrunched up on your table or fresh out of the washer/dryer. You will curse as you try to iron it. Therefore, it's worth paying a fortune to send it out to the laundry and have someone else take care of the aggravation. That said, I'm pleased with the quality. Hems well done; no dangling threads. Precise corners; neat miters. (Can you tell I'm a needleworker?) I am considering buying another.
