The linen has a nice consistent and tight enough weave to give it substance. Yet it has a soft airy quality. Because it’s linen it came out of its first wash full of wrinkles but a touch up with an iron gave a look that pleases me. It is relaxed and natural.

I bought this to cover a table that gets a lot of sun and I didn't want the sun to bleach the surface. That said I also didn't want to make much of a statement in the room and wanted something subtle. This tablecloth is nicely made and seemed to do the trick. It is a nice natural linen color and the banding around the edge is nicely done. Please note that the weight of the linen is very light, like a summer linen shirt. It is not see through in the natural color but could be if ordered in white. If you want a heavy linen do not buy this. I have not laundered it yet but I presume it will need to be ironed with a spray fabric finish. ... show more
