Crystal clear instructions, immaculate and secure packaging, and quality components. It was a pleasure to put it together with predrilled holes, and easy to screw hardware. The bamboo desk is surprisingly smooth, sturdy and straight. Unbelievable and unbeatable value. I have another adjustable desk from Costco that is 3x more expensive. But I like the minimalistic style and ths quality of this one more. The only thing I would change is the power cord/adapter to white to math the white style of the frame. Pro's; UPS shipping, Next day air, check. Easy/fast assembly, clear instructions, check. Smooth/silent operation, check. Nice appearance, quality metalwork, check. Con's: The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was a rub mark on the top and an abraded area about 2 inches long on the edge of one end that revealed the particle board core... Irritating, but not worth returning/waiting another 3 weeks to have replaced. I used a brown sharpie to color over the damaged area and it works. The bamboo top, which the listing gives the impression is solid, is actually veneer, a disappointment because that means the core material, particle board, will start to sag in a year and turn to mush in 3 years. It is also only 1/2 inch thick. Considering the price, I suppose I shouldn't really expect anything else, and when it crumbles I can always have a local carpenter make me a genuine solid bamboo top replacement; the stand and mechanism seems well built and will probably give many years of service. Suggestions to seller; Offering an option for casters at a slightly higher price would be a good idea, all my office furniture is on casters except this desk. ... show more

I bought this desk because I wanted an affordable one piece desk. Not disappointed. This adjustable desk goes smoothly up and down, easy to assemble, sturdy enough. I feel the bamboo piece is too thin, but it's holding together pretty good. After a month of using it. I'm about to put a riser on top. So if anything happens I will update. ... show more

I like it. I looked at 200+. I found one that had a solid, one-piece (AND BAMBOO) desktop. Most are not one piece, you have to deal with a "seam". Up/down motion is adequate, it works. That's good nuff. What else do you need, eh? Its easy to assemble. They are even thoughtful enough to include some spare screws/bolts for assembly. Who else does THAT? It better than I expected it to be. Perfect size at 55" too. Most are 48. And very well priced. Most are $50+ more. I am very pleased. I can recommend it. ... show more

Edit: After owning this desk for about 6 weeks, the bamboo top is splitting. I kept hearing pops coming from the side of the room where the desk is and I finally figure out what was popping. It's the desk itself. I'm disappointed. So far it's not affecting the functionality but how bad will it get? I did not use any power tools during installation and there haven't been any major temperature fluctuations. 😕 ‐------ My original review is below: It's easy to assemble as long as you can follow instructions and you're comfortable with basic hand tool. The desk top looks thin, but it is solid and sturdy. The motor is quiet and operates as expected. It was the best packed large item I've ever received!
