The food she was on previously caused her to regurgitate often, but the kibble in this is small, and I think maybe it eases the strain on her belly a bit. Many of the dry cat (and dog) foods are pure garbage--literally! Many manufacturers throw diseased animal parts and roadkill into the vat! This dry cat food is all good, solid food, which helps keep our cat's coat shiny, her teeth clean and gives her quality of life.

I was hoping this would work for my cat that has hyperthyroidism but unfortunately it didn't. I read in the comment section that someone had great success for their cat with same condition. Other than that it's a decent cat food for my other fir babies.

I have fed this cat food to my two Maine Coon cats for two years, now. It was recommended to us by the breeder we purchased our cats from as she also feeds it to all of her cats as well. It has high quality protein, ingredients, and is grain free. We mix it with two other cat foods just as the breeder recommended and our cats love to eat it. Maine Coons being a larger breed of cat are known to inhale their food, so we were told to mix this smaller Solid Gold cat food with Royal Canin Maine Coon Crunchies and Life's Abundance All Stages Cat food. Our cats are very healthy, active, have beautiful coats, their gums are healthy, and have no digestive issues while eating this. This cat food kibble is very small and if I feed my Maine Coons only this by itself they will gobble it up whole instead of chewing as they should, which is why we mix it with other cat kibble. It helps them slow down while eating, so they don't throw it up. Our veterinarian also said this was a good cat food to have our cats on, so I will continue to feed this to my cats as long as it is made. ... show more
