This set of two solar lights arrived well-packaged and lit up right out of the box so good impressions on the solar pack right away. We gave these a full day of partial sun and placed them among our deck plants and spread out the lights. The stalks on each light can be spread out quite a bit but are a bit more rigid than I might have expected. In any case, as you can see by my photos, they can be manipulated pretty well over a 1-2 foot diameter. The lights came on at dusk as expected and give off a natural warm glow similar to an older-style incandescent bulb and closely matched the tone of our other more traditional lights - which we loved. The solar pack is mounted on the post and obviously needs to be in the sun - one minor quibble is it would be great if this pack was detachable with a cord that allowed it to be placed a short distance from the lights in a more inconspicuous but sunny space. In any case first impressions say this is a good value and we will wait and see how these withstand the elements. Solar lights vary greatly in their ability to withstand rain without the electrical elements taking on water and rusting/shorting out. We have some lights that have lasted years and some that haven't even made it through a season but so far so good with these! ... show more

    • Surprisingly bright
I did not expect much of these lights, but thought they'd add a little something to the corners of our yard. After taking them out of the package, I thought they seemed relatively sturdy, but might only last a season or two based on the materials and propensity of solar batteries to fade quickly. I plopped them into our front garden to test, removing the packing materials and turning them on to soak up the sun's rays on a somewhat cloudy and rainy day. When we returned in the evening, they were already on with a soft but bright light that accented the garden where they were placed. Pleasantly surprised, I'm probably going to order another six or so to place strategically around our yard. I can't tell you anything about the longevity of them, but they work as expected and add a nice touch when hidden in bushy plants and shrubs. ... show more

If you are looking for accent lighting that adds pop and whimsy to your garden, patio landscaping, or entryway flower pots, these firefly lights are ideal. We ordered the 2-pack of warm white lights and each pack features eight small light orbs, each with their own long stem, and the pack powered by a solar panel. Put the two packs close to one another and you have an array of 16 glowing large fairly lights. Each bulb with stem is nearly 28 inches tall and this allows for the bulbs and solar panel to stick out above the greenery or pot to both charge the solar panel and not have the lights covered by plant leaves. We have our set installed in a large pot near our front door entryway. In the evening, it really makes the entryway pop and visitors always ask where they can order their own unit! ... show more

Easy set up. Just be sure to turn them on or they won't turn on automatically at dusk or sundown. Out of all the sets (I currently have 4) these have the best packaging, instructions and brightest led lights (not really sure why). We typically use outdoor flood lights at night, but these have eliminated the need for additional lighting. Very much worth it. Grab a couple of sets, you won't be disappointed. ... show more

These are beautiful lights that go great in the garden. They are a warm white, so they're not overly bright, but just bright enough and muted enough to add ambience to one's garden at night. We are using these as pathway lighting and as accent lighting in and around plants. They have a warm glow, are SO SIMPLE to set up, and last all night. No wires, no electricity and no problems. I’m buying more! Highly recommended.
